This nonsense needs to stop.  It's sexism disguised as progressivism.

You are male or female. It's biology. Teaching kids it's ok to pretend they are something they are not is just plain stupid. Of course, the term "Gender" they tell you is a social construct.  Whatever.  We all know it's not used that way in reality.  People don't go around saying someone is female because they "act" like a female.  It's because they ARE female.

You are born a male or female.  End of discussion.  You want to wear dresses as a male?  Good for you, that doesn't make you "female" if you have the wrong plumbing.  Wear lipstick, paint your nails, play with dolls?  Again, good for you.  You're still not female if you were born a male.  Play soccer?  Play in the dirt? Play video games?  Awesome.  You're still a female if you have ovaries.

This is an insidious disease in our culture right now.  Teaching kids that they way they are, and how they like to act needs to be quantified and put into some "box".  They need to figure out a gender, and if they can't, try to come up with something.  Gender neutral, binary, gender fluid...  All nonsense that tells kids that they need a label.  They need a way to define their social behavior.  Why?  Just let them be a person, and act however they want.  Tell them boys behave however they want, and so do girls. Their biology does not define their behavior.

Basically, this is the same thing in regards to people saying "they don't see color".  Why not?  I do.  I'm just not afraid of it.  We should not be ignoring differences in people, or pretending they aren't there.  We should be embracing the differences, and celebrating them.

Yeah. I tried to identify as a woman the other week and they STILL wouldnt let me in their shower room at the local gym. I dont know  if it's profiling or discrimination but i was ticked!!

Taking a guess I'd venture to say they were profiling dirty old men! 🙂 Really taking the fun out of life!

Roam, great editorial. Sad that this progressiveness is being shoved down societies throat. Neither of my sons or there friends think this way nor do they want to be told to think this way.

My younger sons southern college baseball team don’t give a dang about gender neutral stuff.  They treat girls like girls and vice versa. Tell me how many gals don’t want to be treated like queens.

But the sad fact is that an active minority will rule a silent majority everyday.

They’re pissing way more people off with this nonsense than what they are pandering too IMO

Yea it's pissing people of in our age group but it's not pissing off the majority of people under 30 because it's been taught and shoved down their throats in our public school systems for the last twenty or so years.

It's not pissing them off, but it's making them neurotic and judgmental AF.

The younger generation says they are "all inclusive", but call you racist, sexist, etc. etc. etc. if you disagree with anything they say. They get offended at everything and anything, because they are special little darlings that should have everything they want without issue.

They denounce violence... unless it's for their use by Antifa.  They love free speech, unless someone is on their campus who says something they don't like.

Honestly, sometimes this young generation scares me.  They piss all over the 1st amendment when it suits them, and don't even realize they are doing it. It's funny to me, because they use the book "1984" as an argument for what's happening in the country.  However, they must not have read the book...  because it's them who are creating newspeak from the novel.  Can't say this word, can't say that word...  Only use words that have positive meaning, no negativity.  Etc. etc. etc.  I swear, at some point a youngster on TV is going to say we shouldn't use the word bad anymore, that it should be double ungood.

Perhaps it is a ridiculous comment. I don't know what he means by "Tell me how many gals don’t want to be treated like queens." I have had some conversations with one of my female friends concerning what her daughter has dealt with recently and what she endured when she was younger. Sexual harassment may be a crime. However, proving it and dealing with the consequences as an accuser are another thing.

Treated with love, kindness, respect the way GOD intends for men to treat women.

When people say they are treating a woman like a queen, it means they are treating them well and with respect.  Basically, like a Queen in the sense of a monarch.

I don't think he was using it in a derogatory way, or putting women down.
