@psujoe Ole Lane is trying to win a football game homer cut the man some slack. Winning 10 games isn’t easy to do and it goes down in the record books as a 10 win season. That’s something for the Ole Miss team to be proud of.
They gotta do something with the transfer portal rules because Duke lost their starting QB just like we lost Pribula and it’s not right but it’s the rules and all teams are playing by the same rules but there’s nothing wrong with changing the rules to make college football better. Hopefully they’ll get something done with the transfer window.

The only way you stop this is to either A. do away with these stupid bowl games that nobody cares about or B. expand the CFP to 16 teams, 24 teams or 32 teams and just use those games as the bowl season...That won't stop a kid like Pribula from entering the portal but I believe it would keep the kids that are starting for a team to stick around...As with anything that is new there is a lot of things wrong with this system that needs fixing...My personal opinion is that there should be a time period ONCE a year that lasts about 6 weeks to announce your entering the portal and then to join your future team...My personal opinion once again is that period should begin 2/1 and last until 3/15 of the calendar year...Semesters mean nothing with this stuff to me...These kids have now become professional athletes and are mercenaries searching for better NIL deals...School is secondary to these kids...As far as I am concerned they can finish their semester at their current school and enroll for the Summer for their new schools...This way they are with their teams for the season and are free to leave when the season is over to go after their new NIL deal...This way schools can have their rosters locked in 3/15 and can be ready for spring practice...
