The unnecessary "peacocking" and penalties are hallmarks of the 2024 squad and reflect poorly on the coaches. 

 

It is great to see enthusiastic players, but their shameless self-promotions add nothing to the TEAM and are often followed by poor performance.  The only times the players should celebrate is after a score or after they take the ball from the other team.  Other than those instances, the appropriate behavior after a play is to hustle back to the huddle and prepare for the next play.  

 

When a player commits a stupid penalty, like #7 during the interception return, the other players should immediately initiate a counseling session..
