I had it 31-10 and it ended up 16-10.  Over threw Dotson ( +7) missed FG ( +3) and Extra point ( +1).......27-10. LOL

1) Saturdays win changes things. I am certain NOBODY bet their house on this game.  Most of us (as fans) predicited a win, hoped for a win but I think it is safe to say we were ALL more concerned too!

2) Clifford MUST get better with his passing! Missed too many routine throws.  I get the Oline was not there, but he missed throws when the Oline WAS there! HOWEVER, thought Clifford started finding his mojo in the second half. HE looked more like a leader and I swear his confidence level went from a 2 to an 8 late in the fourth. Maybe this game was HIS turning point just like I still beleive the Michigan game last year was the TEAMS turning point.

3) Wisconsin, on the road, ranked 12th, packed Camp Randall, first game of the year and coming off a 4-5 season with a NEW OC and bringing home a WIN?  This aint the same team we watched LAST year!!! My question is if JF & Co can keep them going week in and week out. Love what Pry did, thought Yurcich made the right adjustments at half but also thought he missed some of the obvious....like running against that front 7 too much.  Let's se what happens against Ball State.  They need to have a great offensive showing and light up that scoreboard.  NEED TO FIND THEIR GROOVE!

Finally, WE ARE the ones who wins the close game this time....against a very good ranked team!!!!

GO STATE!!!

The Wisky win was a great win...They need to build on this one and keep improving each week...

I think I'd have rather played about half the teams ranked above Wisconsin.  Wisconsin is solid, well coached, experienced and basic.  Not many bells and whistles.  Kind of like an old Paterno team.  Luckily the QB had some issues.  The QB handoff fumbles were huge.  The first INT was huge.

Wisconsin at Camp Randall in game 1 is a big win.  How the game played out was no surprise.  The score was.

Even if Clifford doesn't get better he will look better against everyone but OSU?  And he has to get better based on learning another new offense?  I expect he will feel more comfortable going into the Auburn game.  Will we be slightly favored against Auburn?

I don't think anyone with the exception of Alabama that was ranked in the top 10 would have beaten Wisky this weekend and I am not so sure that rookie QB at Bama would have had such an easy time in that stadium against that defense either...That was a tremendous win and something they can build on...The problem I have with much of this is these teams all play with each other...How good is Miami? How good is Georgia? How good is Clemson this year? I would love to see some of these teams come up north and play an Iowa or a Wisky team on the road...Miami was 8-3 last year but lost their last 2 games and got thumped by North Carolina in their own building...How are they ranked #14? These preseason rankings are a joke and they help to inflate the importance of some of these wins...I believe the strength of schedule should be adjusted each week as we sort out which of these teams are pretenders...It's pure B.S. that a team is ranked #3 like FSU was a few years back and won like 3 games all year yet if you beat them week 1 you were credited by beating the #3 team in the country...Seriously...Much of this is manipulated...

And who has the power to manipulate?  Could it be the same people with an SEC Financial Conflict of interest?

Oh I see Miami on the schedule ... lets talk them up.  Someday someone at ESPN will come out with how they were pushed to promote certain games/teams....but it will not be until after their career is over.

I don’t believe Wisconsin is good enough at QB to beat Georgia or Clemson both teams would beat Wisconsin just about the same way Penn State did.we are a top 5 team from what I see.

They already have, former ESPN guy talked about how they "massaged" Texas and the Big 12 to do certain things to benefit them in the past... when asked if he thinks ESPN had anythign to do with Texas and Oklahoma leaving the league, he laughed saying "I plead the fifth"

This year from what I saw in those 2 games last Saturday Wisky would beat both of those teams in Wisky...Last year and 2 years ago don't matter Southern...Those players are gone...Clemson don't have Lawrence at QB, Etienne at RB etc...Different team altogether...In my opinion Wisky would have beaten both of those teams on Saturday...Not impressed by either of em...Time will tell...

@the-funeral-director   I don’t know FD, Clemson and Georgia have NFL talent all over the field these 2 teams have much better players. Wisconsin is a good football team but just not the same caliber as George and Clemson both teams knee deep like Alabama with talent. You can usually judge teams on what bowl games they go to and it’s year after year with Clemson a d Georgia

I ain’t got a dog in the fight because I can’t stand Georgia and I don’t like Clemson but man both teams are loaded 3 deep at most positions with studs.

My eyes tell me that Wisky or Penn State the way they played Saturday would beat both of those teams...Like I said...A lot of football left to be played but Clemson don't have Lawrence and Etienne...You just don't replace a Trevor Lawrence and it showed Saturday...Georgia gets hype every year and every year they get beat in the big games...This Clemson team will not run the table in the ACC this year based on what I saw Saturday...Like I said...Time will tell...

One final thought...These bowl games are no longer a barometer of the strength of a team or a conference...Most if not all of the NFL caliber talent sit out the game as they are meaningless games...In season head to head games are the true barometer of a conferences strength...
Frankly I don't think Miami nor Clemson are any good this year...I think the ACC as a whole are a lower tier conference...Just my opinion...

The bowls never were a barometer of a conference's strength not win the 2nd place ACC team is playing a Big Ten 7th place team or 6th place SEC team. As they always did.

@roaminglion  what I was trying to say judging by bowl games is, when you play in the NC games and the big dawgs bowl games means your team is a top 5 and when you constantly stay in the top 5 means you have a lot of NFL talent. I could be wrong but Ohio st, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Oklahoma sure do put a lot in the NFL. Wisconsin is usually a top 25 team? As for Georgia there no team that waste more talent than them.
