Well, Well, Well...I gotta tell ya...The more I read about this guy and what he is doing with this program the more excited I get...This guy is doing thing the right way...I guess it is because I totally agree with his philosophy and his process to get there...This guy is the kind of guy I would love to play for...I am telling ya...I was quite skeptical about 8 months ago...I am really beginning to believe in this guy...I am excited to see the kind of football team this guy shows up with on Saturday's...I can get behind this...And YES...What he is doing is how you build CHAMPIONSHIP programs...The whole situation I am seeing with Drew Allar and some of the other things I am hearing regarding the program under Franklin are telling as to why this team never could win the big games and why the players seemed to stagnate here...Franklin was a great salesman and there is no doubt about that...The problem is once he made the sale he didn't know how to develop the product and deliver the goods...This guys seems to lack the salesman qualities but sure seems to know how to deliver the goods...I haven't been this excited to see a Penn State Football season in a long time...The telling thing in that piece is "OKG"...Our Kind of Guys...We are going to see mentally tough, team first, selfless and fundamentally sound football this season...Yes boys I may have been wrong and I my excitement for this team and this season is very high...I believe this guy is going to deliver and deliver in a way that we all want...There is no substitute for discipline, commitment and accountability...You bring that along with a good scouting department and player development people and you end up with a winning program...I believe Penn State is on the track to being a place where these kids are going to want to play...I can tell you I would have loved to play for this guy...He brings me back to some of the great men who I had the privilege of playing for...Great read Roam...Dare I say...I am on board!!!
