Based on the historical zeitgeist of college football fans up here in NEPA, The Iwish would be the choice. It would be awesome to play them every year!
We got the ball back and Tom Bill drove us down the field. Time was running out and Ray Tarasi kicked a 20 yard FG. We won 16-13. The game ended in a big brawl when Pitt got the ball after our FG and we intercepted a desperation pass in front of their bench and their players came off the bench and mauled our guy. Classic Pitt!
I want to play Pitt because it was a big rivalry and I miss it. I don't care about what happened 40 years ago with people who aren't around anymore, it's sad that rivalries are going away everywhere and it's ruining the sport. One could argue we started the trend, and it's certainly spread to other schools doing the same. Many rivalries have gone away and it's a shame.
GT isn't significant at the moment, neither is South Carolina. Clemson & Gerogia are national powers and still play the damn games because they care.
@southern-psu-fan Watch out for those "Landsharks" SPF! They can make you do crazy stuff and leave you with a raging headache the following morning.
- @been-there-ii I know that’s right BT lol…I agree Roam get Pitt back on the schedule it only makes sense to me. I was watching that game BK i thought it would end in a tie. That coach reminded me of coach Pat Tie Dye lol. Y’all know I don’t like Tom Osborne but that dude never played for a tie he always went for the win regardless of what was on the line. Play to win baby. I ain’t got my glasses on so y’all have to connect the dots lol
