Great win ...  and PSU having the Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year, Grant Ament and the Defensive Player of the Year, Chris Sabia is impressive!!

They are gonna need to start doubling up Pipe's meds...He is melting down early this year....Poor Pipe is clearly concerned that this may be Penn State's year...

I think Ament is only 4 assists away from setting a single season NCAA record. Phenomenal player. If PSU wins the B1G tournament, they will become the first team not named Johns Hopkins or Maryland to do it.

Lacrosse,  lol. I don't know anyone outside of this forum that follows it other than a few boneheads here. Your football program is mediocre,  2nd tier at best.  Let's focus on the the most popular sport, AKA FOOTBALL before we fling mud.

Ok. First off, I’ve been nothing but respectful of you in the past, so there’s no need for the name calling.  The fact that a grown man can hide anonymously behind a keyboard and call people names is pretty weak. You have a friendly rivalry with some others on here, which is your prerogative, so enjoy it, but leave me out of it, as I have minded my own business in the past.

As for lacrosse, yes, I enjoy it. I enjoy it because my youngest son plays it. I knew nothing about it until he started playing a few years ago, now I’m either watching a game or a practice most weekends. There are a few others on here that watch it also, so I started this discussion about it here. There isn’t a lacrosse topic category, so it was put here for those who were interested. If you do not like lacrosse, feel free to ignore it the same way I do with the basketball discussions. Have a great weekend. Go PSU lacrosse, win a B1G title!

Linebacker ur dealing with Pipe here. .. He is the forum idiot...we keep him around here strictly for the laughs and entertainment purposes...He is starting his nonsense earlier than normal this year and I believe it is because he is genuinely concerned that Penn State may run the table this year in football...He is a Rutgers fan if you can believe it .. He lives up in Aristes in the coal regions... He is a real beauty and his mother seriously needs to double up his meds before he has a melt down... Anyway congratulations to your son and I hope they win the whole thing... Keep posting and please keep us updated...

Exactly right 99. We have some that like NASCAR and we start a topic and if you like it join in and if you don’t, don’t lol. I don’t keep up with lacrosse but if penn st makes it to championship games I’ll watch just like I watched the hockey championship. This forum makes it fun.

Thanks for the post FD. Just to clear up any confusion. My son is still in the youth leagues. He isn’t playing for Penn State, although that is his dream for the future. We’ll be watching NCAAs in Philly, cheering for the Blue and White. If they win tonight, they will probably secure the #1 overall seed for the big tournament.

Shows how dumb you really are.  And isolated. Lacrosse is hands down the fastest growing sport in the USA. In 2007 480,000 played lacrosse. Last year over a million athletes played lacrosse. Over double the numbers in 11 years.  Stay small pipe.  It fits you well

Yes, fastest growing.  It will never be a mainstream sport in America.  Football is the most popular. Always was, always will be.  Sorry,  I don't know of anyone that comes into work and asks if I have watched the lacrosse game.  Again,  most popular sports are Football,  Basketball and baseball.  Maybe college lacrosse thrills you since Penn state is doing so well. Can't say that for football though. Have a great day

Pipe you are wrong again....American Football as a sport is in trouble...Many high schools are dropping it due to head injury concerns and insurance costs...The participation numbers of athletes playing American Football are dropping fast...Soccer and Lacrosse are 2 sports on the rise...Even baseball numbers aren't what they used to be...The truth be told the sport (if you want to call it that) that is on the rise is eSports...These young people are more into video games than they are into the sports that we played as kids....

Exactly right FD football is in trouble because mommies little baby boy might get hurt. I bet more kids get hurt riding bicycle’s than playing football but the left is wanting to take the male  out of our boys because they really don’t know if they are boys, they might be girls stuck in a boys body. Heck even penn st couldn’t decide rather the home coming king was a male or not lol. Did penn st ever go through with that home coming thing last year? I remember Murray being upset about it as were some others.

You are absolutely correct Southern.  Football is under attack by the soccer mom's who are taking more and more local school board seats as well as the influx of Hispanic immigrants (both legal & illegal) who tend to prefer soccer as their sport of choice.

Absolutely correct. I see it myself in HS football.  It is declining in some areas and rosters are shrinking.  Otherwise are you telling me to stop watching football because its declining? Ok, got it!

Pipe...Every time you post it becomes more and more apparent that you have a reading comprehension problem and also have some sort of attention disorder as well... The post that you were responding to was discussing the subject of which sports are seeing significant uptick in youth participation and which sports are seeing a decline in youth participation .. It is refreshing that you are in agreement with my assertion that youth participation in American football is in severe decline..  That was the point I was making in my previous post... As far as you watching and enjoying football is concerned I encourage you to watch as much as you can now because unless some significant technological changes and improvements happen with the football helmet to reduce the concussion and brain injury risks I fear that American football will be a thing of the past in the next 25 years or so as there will be no athletes willing to play the game anymore ... I hope that clears things up for you Pipe

Yes, I got all of that ! 👍 That sums everything up and nips it in the bud. I'm looking forward to this season so Penn State can run the table.

C’mon Southern. Don’t make a simple conversation political. You are better than that. As I’ve said before, the easiest way to divide this board and ruin it is to get political. It isn’t a left vs right decision. It’s a decision people are now making based on research and education

Penn State LAX rent free in your head 24/7/365... Football now has a roommate.
