How bout dem Yellow Jackets 🐝 baby ACC champions. Hopefully this basketball championship will rub off on the football team lol
lol Who? What kind of ball? huh?
We grapplers used to call them Roundnecks!!
Although, I have to be honest. I didn't miss a PSU men's game all year. I have been following them for a long time and I and just saw that they got snubbed in the NIT....which is stupid! Number 1 strength of schedule in the country and loss about 8 games by 6 or less in the toughest league in the country! What a joke!
I thought Ferry did a great job this year and I wouldn't mind seeing him as the HC next season. I just can't help wonder what the season would have held with Chambers as the HC. I think a lot of their issues were just that they were a little undersize compared to most of the other Big10 teams. But they were a lot of fun to watch!!
On to football! Hope we get to see a Blue White game, maybe see some new talent and a little more tuned up squad this Spring. I have to believe this is going to be a good season for the Lion's. We shall see!!
GO STATE!
@mtnittanylion. I want to see what Roberson can do. This spring game coming up is one I’m really looking forward too just to see the backup QB and DE’s.
@mtnittanylion We called them pumpkin pushers. As long as they stayed on their side of the gym. If not, we called them other names as well.
@been-there-ii: we used to say that basketball was invented for guys that werent tough enough to wrestle.
I am very glad we will have a Spring game this year, and the new OC will get to see what our QB's look like in early practices unlike last year.
IMO there is no starter yet... I believe the new OC will pick the best guy for the job from what he sees in practice. I doubt Franklin will tell him Clifford is the starter, you just don't bring in such a high profile guy and then tell him what to do.
@roaminglion I agree Franklin will let the OC pick who he wants at QB but I believe Clifford is so far ahead of Roberson it’s not even a competition. Roberson was only good enough to come in and knee the ball down and that kind of concerns me thinking he could be in way over his head at Penn St.
I think you're right, Southern. If I was a betting man, I'd put the house on Clifford!
all I know is I ain't ever seen a BBall player with cauliflower ears....and that makes you a wuss in my book!
All I know is that I will lose my mind if they sub in a QB to try and gain 1 yard like they consistently did last season! I hate to say it, but I think the other teams are onto us now, so this play should be shelved....FOREVER!!!
My Goodness, Southern! I could put you in the game, no pads, a PBR in one hand and some boiled peanuts in the other and have a better chance at gaining a yard!!!
@mtnittanylion. Urban Meyer did it with Tebow for 4 years 😂 I don’t have a problem with the wildcat I just would rather see the RB take the snap because in most cases he’s a better running and he’s stronger
@mtnittanylion If SPF has a PBR in one hand and "bold" peanuts in the other, I'm pretty sure I don't want to know where he's gonna stick the ball.

Tebow was the starter for most of his years there, they didn't sub him in to play QB for just short yardage runs. Not even when Leak was the QB, it was rare and not every other 3 and 1.
@roaminglion I remember Tim Tebow coming in his freshmen year a lot of times running on short yardage plays but regardless he run the ball a lot during the games. Maybe I took it the wrong way I thought the guys are tired of watching our QB run up the middle I thought they wanted to see different plays. Me personally I could care less what plays we run as long as they work which most of the time on 3rd and 4th downs our QB runs did work. Levis and Clifford did a great job running the ball IMO it’s just ugly to watch

I believe they meant they are sick of seeing a QB come in just to run it when the starter is perfectly capable of doing the same thing. Basically, WTF is the point? Clifford is a pass threat and can run, so why put in a guy that you never let pass just to run anyway?
@roaminglion. Oh I agree roam I never want the starting QB to come out unless we have a 28 point lead late in the 4th and we have the ball. Clifford is a dang good running heck instead of bringing the backup QB in just let the RB’s do the wildcat I believe the RB’s will get more yardage lol
Hey Roam, I heard on the news today that there’s only 1 blockbuster left in the country and it’s in Oregon just wondering if you know where it is. I miss blockbuster and going to rent movies I am a big TV junky. That stinking Redbox destroyed the video stores. I just buy movies at home now through Xfinity.

Never been to it, but it's out in Bend. Bend is a nice town right near Mt. Bachelor, one of the largest ski resorts in the US.
