Yikes .. not good at all. Really wish we could get someone that could get the program to at least be a perennial NCAA tournament team, then build on that

I mean, I get it but we're getting really soft if that's considered anything but a light tap. I was pushed like that by a few coaches as an athlete, never bothered me at all.

Again, I get it but pretty soon even yelling at a kid is going to be considered terrible.

Roam, what Chambers did was totally unacceptable .. period. If it wasn't such a big deal, ESPN, Yahoo sports, NBC sports the Associated press and many others wouldn't be running stories about the incident. Do we really want them all talking about PSU about a situation like this. No, not at all.

LOL, because we all know the news media never over-exaggerates anything.

I saw it for myself, I don't need ESPN to tell me what to feel about it.

If wasn't a big deal why did PSU suspend him at all. Trust me I'm no fan of the media. I just don't like PSU, a shoving incident and a suspension being mentioned anywhere at all. Also, you indicated it was more than your opinion when you posted  "I get it but we're getting really soft if that's considered anything but a light tap" I respectfully disagree.

How does that indicate it's more than my opinion? THAT IS MY OPINION. I think as a society we're getting ridiculous with this nonsense. Literally give what would be considered a love tap 30 years ago, and you get suspended with some people calling you a thug.

IMO this nonsense is out of control. I mean, I get it if you are hitting or seriously degrading someone... but people shove their friends harder than that in bars. It's ridiculous. I would almost guarantee that Myles Dread didn't even care about it at the time, and was probably surprised when he heard about the controversy.

It's all PC nonsense IMO.

I agree Roam. When I played football our coaches would grab us by the face mask and drag us off the field and we still loved and respected our coaches. Win or lose in most games we weren’t even aloud to shake hands after games we went straight to the locker room or the bus if it was an away game. At my coaches funeral Fran Tarkenton even talked about how tough coach Sellers was during the services but people still respected him. I know I sure did. Our society has gotten way to soft. People get offended to easy today IMO but I ain’t PC guy by no means lol
