Running Backs Coach Ja’Juan Seider has extended an offer to running back Tyrion Davis. Davis, a 4 star (247 sports) prospect, is the 20th ranked running back in the class of 2019. Tyrion is from Baton Rouge Louisiana and is the 10th ranked player in the state.
It should be noted that Davis is labeled as a hard commit to the LSU Tigers. While it is unlikely that he would switch to Penn State Ja’Juan Seider has a reputation for being a great recruiter so anything is possible.

Outlook
Given the fact that Tyrion Davis hails from Louisiana and is a hard commit to the LSU Tigers, since June of 2017, I’d say that Penn State is on the outside looking in on this prospect. I’d be surprised if they can get him to flip.
Even though Davis has changed his twitter header image to a lion, rather than a tiger I put the odds of him becoming a Nittany Lion at less than 25 percent. Regardless it is great to see the Penn State Football recruiting footprint continuing to expand into the talent-rich South. It will only be a matter of time until Ja’Juan Seider lands a coveted player.
