Penn State Football Coach Ja’Juan Seider has been busy since he joined the Nittany Lions as their Running Back coach back in January. Known, as much for his ability to recruit, as his coaching talents, he has hit the ground running with his sights set on talent-rich Florida. The latest to receive an offer from Seider and Penn State is Anthony Solomon.
Solomon resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and plays for St. Thomas Aquinas High School. According to 247 Sports Solomon is a top 200 player and is currently ranked the 172nd best player in the country. He is ranked the number 10 player in the country at his position and the 26th best player in the state of Florida.
Solomon a member of the class of 2019 and is teammates with Avery Huff who has also recently received an offer from Penn State.
Solomon announced the offer on his Twitter page.

Outlook
Penn State joins a crowded field as they look to convince Anthony Solomon to come north and play for the Nittany Lions. According to 247 Sports’ Cyrstal Balls Solomon is currently trending towards the Michigan Wolverines. This sets up a great battle between BIG Ten East rivals for Solomon’s talents. It’s not a bad thing that Michigan leads in this race at this point as it may show that he is willing to leave the South and head north to play at the next level.
Penn State certainly has some ground to make up but there is adequate time to do so. Hopefully, they will be able to get him on campus for a game this fall. It also could help that Penn State is also targeting Solomon’s teammate and fellow Linebacker Avery Huff.
