There is a TV show called Woke on Hulu, I have not watched it.
I believe woke is a very small group of people just wanting attention because some of the things they are yelling about is just stupid. The problem is they yell loud and are getting their way.
Woke is a word used by right wing conservatives to label anyone who appears to care about the feelings of people that are not mainstream. The funniest thing about the whole thing is if you are saying you are not "woke" then you are implying that you are asleep.

Democrats use the word as well. Personally, I don’t think most democrats like woke because it’s killing them politically. I used CNN because they pretty much lean Democrat.

IMO the term woke was first used to describe someone who was at first ignorant of someone else's struggles, but now understands that not everyone is afforded the same oppurtunities or has the same privledge.
Now, it's used to describe the extreme left and their ridiculous nonsense that goes way too far. However, they paint all people left of center with that brush, not just the extremists.

@roaminglion Roam, you know I’m a tv junky and Sean Penn and Patrick Swayze are my all time favorite actors. They both are agnostic I believe. Man I love watching them 2 dudes in movies they are great lol. I know you like sci-fi but if you get a chance try out Vikings man that’s a killer show. It’s free on Hulu. I gotta get caught up on all my shows before football season gets here. BTW it’s a daily fight for me out here buddy 😂
