The point is, it was highly irresponsible for him to expose 2 other individuals (the secret service agents) to a highly contagious virus that he was just diagnosed with 2 days prior. It’s called quarantine for a reason. However, with his line of thinking, and apparently yours, we’ll be spreading this virus for months to come and will continue to deal with the fallout. As was mentioned above, there’s a difference between strength and stupidity.
If everyone who is supposed to quarantine when positive ignores it and goes about their business, we’ll have thousands more dead by Christmas. It’s common sense, or lack of.

My wife feels the same way and she's a Critical Care physician. There is zero chance doctors worth a damn would be clearing him to go out. There is also zero chance a doctor would say "72 hours" and really mean 3 days in succession. These people have to be precise, they are trained to be precise, and no doctor worth a damn is saying 72 hours when it's only been 36 hours... but spread over 3 days. Utter nonsense.

But regardless I didn't say there's a cure, I said that Trump is receiving experimental drugs that haven't even gone through the approval process yet. He's the President, so of course he has access two things that the general public doesn't.

Well they're wrong. You can get 1 of the drugs he was on, AND ONLY if you are in the group that gets it. One group of people (control group) get a placebo, and the other get the drug.
Again, that's only 1 of the drugs he got. Another is experimental, and people in the USA don't have access to the entire Walter Reed medical staff on call 24/7.
Please, just stop... I was in the Pharmaceutical Industry for almost 10 years and my wife is a critical care physician. I know how the system works. Whomever said "You can get the same treatment if you're in a clinical trial" obviously doesn't understand how clinical trials work, because only half the people in them actually get the drug. The other half are TOLD they are receiving the drug, but are not actually getting it.

FFS the President doesn't have any power to "get these experimental drugs out to people". Who the heck are you listening to? POTUS can't just waive a want or sign an executive order and have experimental drugs released for use. That would be completely dangerous and VERY stupid. There are mechanisms in place for *some* people to get drugs in trials, called "compassionate use". That is when the person will probably face dire consequences if they don't get it, so the benefit outweighs the risk of bad side effects (Which might I add is what Trump used to get one of the drugs he took... but yeah "don't be afraid")
POTUS is absolutely feeding you BS when he talks about "The Trump Administration" developing therapeutics and Vaccines. He, nor his administration have anything to do with any of that. He's just trying to take credit for the pharm companies work. When he said "He talked with the Pfizer CEO and told him to move fast" I just plainly laughed. That's not how drug development works... You don't just "work harder" to get a drug through trials faster.

What I should’ve said is he’s tried to recommend everybody get these drugs that most people can’t get. People are dying by the thousands that’s reason enough for me to say get these people that are real sick these drugs you talk about. WTH have they got to lose.
