In much of the US, the drinking age is 18, however, I don't think the right to drink should have any tie in to the right to vote.

I don’t make the rules but I try to follow the rules it’s just my personal opinion that it would be better for the country if there was an age limit of 21 to vote.

No, it is a right enshrined in certain amendments of the Constitution. For example: The voting age of 18 years old is set by the 26th amendment, so the only way to "change" it is another amendment. Just like owning a gun is a right set by the 2nd amendment... you can change that too, but it would require an amendment as well.@roaminglion yes but I thought voting was a privilege not a right. In very limited circumstances can a right be "taken" from you. For example: being put in prison in some states can deny you the right to vote. Again, this is similar to how felons aren't allowed to purchase guns in many states (Even these examples have been, and probably will again, been fought in court as unconstitutional). Another example is "free speech", which is also enshrined in the Constitution... however you can't slander people or threaten to kill people. There are limits.
All that said, the point is you can't just pass a law to change the voting age, it's a specific right written in the Constitution.
