Had the day off today but heard early this morning how it affected many computers in the workplace among banks, hospitals and airports. Last I've heard 2000 flights have been canceled. In addition, it's still wreaking havoc now. Have you noticed an uptick in these types of events within the past year? Well, apparently the one today was the worst.
This is the main reason I don’t believe self driving vehicles will ever happen unless someone is behind the wheel to take over. We have the technology to do it but with bad guys out there I just don’t see it happening in my lifetime. We seen the mess what Colonial pipeline got hacked.

@roaminglion just asking if we had self driving cars and big 18 wheelers and the software got hacked it could end badly. I’m not so sure it would be easy to hack these companies but it could happen then we have nobody controlling the cars and trucks. Lot of cars and trucks out here Roam and we have a few bad people wanting to do bad things.

Too many aggressive drivers on the road. Wake up late to get to work or in a hurry to go nowhere. I don't even beep the horn anymore. I've adopted the rule of "don't engage" due to the recent local news. It's out of control. I've heard stories where the state police can cut your drivers license on the spot and impound your car for aggressive driving. The states need to crack down on this BS more.
@mastert I hear ya. But then you have some folks that feel you offended them, for some unknown reason and they start doing unsafe, stupid shit to try to antagonize you. And you're wondering WTF you did, even though you were just trying to mind your own business.
Last spring I had some guy absolutely go nuts screaming at me in a parking lot on my way into Lowe's. I was walking away, heard his car door slam. I turned around and he was coming towards me. I looked at him and said "I don't know what your problem is, but you aren't worth me going to jail for. I sure hope you have a better day than what apparently you're already having." I turned back around and started walking toward the store. Not sure if he figured out that I might be old, but I was still a bit bigger than he was or if he realized he didn't want to go sit in the emergency room. Either way he shut up and stopped chasing after me.
@been-there-ii get ‘em BT 😂 I get the finger all the time because the company I work for doesn’t let us speed at all not even 1 mile an hour over and folk be in a hurry down here in Atlanta. 81, if you ever see a big Truck pulling a tanker around Atlanta with Penn St on the 2 side windows holding up traffic that’s me. I prefer you just wave at me and not give me the finger 😂 . If it’s convenient I’ll stop and buy you lunch.

Yep, it's complete craziness over nonsense. In the beginning of the summer there were 2 incidents just north of 61 Leesport and another About 20 miles away 222. A car was shot at. I heard about another incident where someone got out of car and was punching windows. That didn't end well as the aggressor was subdued. He learned the hard way really fast
