Don’t know her name but the blonde swimmer is fighting against mob’s because she doesn’t want biological men competing in women’s sports and people are giving her a hard time. Got biological men doing makeup and tampon commercials and Bud Light put this dude on a bud light can how stupid was that lol. We got a nut here in Atlanta shooting up the hospital the hospital I was born in. I’m a Grady baby Atlanta born and raised.  man I just don’t understand it. One reason I’ve stopped reading the news lol WTH is wrong with people

The good news is I finally found a black Goodwrench #3 Earnhardt hat at Talladega baby and I jumped all over it wish I would’ve bought 2 hopefully they’ll have ‘em at Atlanta in July. Been looking for this hat for 15 years. I still get tears when I think about Earnhardt he was the man.

@southern-psu-fan That's the sad part brother. The crazy shit we used to think was unimaginable, is no longer crazy. So you hear something that in the back of your mind says is surreal, but we go with it, because that's the way of the world today.

A guy here went into the local Costco, took at a hunting knife, and started stabbing all the Bud Light. LMFAO, some people need therapy.

@roaminglion  my brother-in-law is devastated because Bud Light is his beer and he’s  now drinking Flight Yuengling. I don’t care what other people do as long as you don’t hurt other people and leave me alone but the image of Bud Light doesn’t go with the trans life style it’s more redneck, sports and country I guess. I love ultra and AB has made me jump ship I also switched to Yuengling flight. IMO they should’ve picked another beer and left bud light with the image it had. I really just love cold beer I’m not all that picky but ultra is a beer that taste good and you can keep drinking lol.  Killians red Irish is dam good brother I love that stuff. Bud Light was my beer until I started drinking ultra. Dam AB F’d this up lol

@southern-psu-fan I just drink what tastes good to me, I don't care if they put an image of a trans lady on it or not. Who cares.

Now I will say if they came out and started supporting the trans athletes, then yes that would make me spend my money elsewhere. I'm with the female swimmer on that one, it's total BS. Biological men should not be allowed to compete against biological women.

It's why there's an NBA and a WNBA. It's NBA... not MNBA because that's where the BEST ATHLETES compete. There's no requirement to be male or female. Are you good enough? Great, you're in! We didn't create the WNBA for equality.. we created it for fairness and to give women oppurtunities.

This whole trans thing is just the latest in a long line of insignificant "problems" that certain politicians use to distract non-thinking voters from realizing that they are doing absolutely nothing to solve the real problems in the US and the world. Much ado about nothing.

I'd agree that politicians are using it for political reasons, but I don't think men breaking records in women's sports and changing Title IX so men can be covered by it is "insignificant". I'd like my girls to compete in sports, and would rather they not have to endure a biological man playing in their sport.

There's a reason the US Women's national team (Best women's team in the world) practices against and loses to High School boys soccer teams. The sexes are physically different... significantly... and we as a society shouldn't be pretending they aren't

@roaminglion You say girls when you talk about your daughters but they would be competing against biological men?  The insignificant part of this is the numbers of trans athletes involved. I'm not saying I am for this kind of thing. I am saying it is not one of the most pressing problem in America. Do you really think that this will start a huge number of boys/men to go through this trans process just to win a medal or set a record?

I think just one is enough to ruin it for a bunch of women who gave their blood, sweat, and tears to get where they were, but had to deal with one guy who hadn't even transitioned beat them all. They weren't even allowed to change in their own locker room without having to see a naked biological man in there with them.

That's just ridiculous.

And I think as a society we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Just because there are more pressing issues doesn't mean we can't talk about anything else. However, to your point... our politicians talk WAAAAAAYYYYYY too much about this issue and seeming ignore the other issues. That, I would absolutely agree with. As I said though, they could fix a bunch of problems at the same time... the government is capable of multitasking.... err... I hope? I mean, they used to be at least.

@roaminglion A final word on this from me. Every sport has a governing body that controls that sport. They are the ones that need to handle this problem. My objection is on the laws being passed and considered by state governments. This is not their business.

How do you determine if whoever has transitioned? IDK is it getting something cut off or added what tells ole southern that this person has transitioned? I’ll admit I’m very lost in this stuff

@southern-psu-fan I am glad to admit I don't know a whole lot about this as well. I just don't think we need a bunch of laws messing with peoples lives. It seems to me that if you are going through something like that, you have enough problems in your life already.

AMEN !! To call this an insignificant issue is ridiculous and all I can say is if I ever find out one of those things was in the ladies room exposing itself to my daughter, niece, future granddaughter or any other relative of mine I hope I can control myself.

Yes they do have problems and they can seek treatment or their loved ones can help them get treatment at mental wards which is where they belong.

Two facts for liberals like you:

There are only two genders

Those born as males can’t be impregnated.

@roaminglion A final word on this from me. Every sport has a governing body that controls that sport. They are the ones that need to handle this problem. My objection is on the laws being passed and considered by state governments. This is not their business.

The NCAA is the governing body for collegiate sports, and they weren't doing chit back in the 70s. Without the government and Title IX, women wouldn't have the opportunities that they have been afforded for the past 50 years. Pure and simple, a biological man said he was a woman, kept his equipment, and won the NCAA title after being no better than 300th in the men's division the year before. That, quite simple, is a ridiculous outcome that shouldn't be allowed.

What's more, the regulations they are putting in place are disqualifying ACTUAL BIOLOGICAL WOMEN for the sake of trans individuals. No joke. In order for biological men to qualify, track and field put in place stipulations for testosterone levels. However, some women now have "high natural testosterone levels", and in order to compete have to take certain birth control pills, hormone blockers, or have surgery. I mean, WHAT THE ACTUAL EFFFF???? Not only are we allowing biological men to compete, but in order for them to do so were are saying some women now have to take pills or have surgery???? This is just out of control.
