Your Main man better find a HAT TRICK fast if he wants to win this election. Hopefully this is just beginers luck. Otherwise, how are you doing today? Are you ready for some football?

What do you mean Southern
@mastert Just speculating here, but probably has something to do w/ Trump's inability to not post derogatory comments. Like, say, calling Rosie O'Donnell a cow. Which, I may agree with. I just wouldn't make it a tweet for all the world to see.
@been-there-ii I actually do wish Trump would shut up sometimes but folk get upset about mean tweets is funny to me. Trump lives rent free in these people’s minds 😂 being so thinned skin is causing little Johnny to be offended to easy. The ole saying…only the strong shall survive baby we gotta toughen up. We actually have men playing women sports and some folk think it’s okay. Smh

I’m not a Trump fan but it is funny watching these retards like ForemTighten flip out over some of the things he says. Trump obviously does live rent free in their empty heads. I’m so sick of politics and the crap that’s being posted all over the internet and can’t wait for it to be over but have a feeling it’s going to continue long after Election Day.
@psujoe It's never gonna end. If Trump loses, we're in for another 4 yrs of the rhetoric and Trump in '28 yard signs.

Yep, I'd say about another 8 years for everything to heal. If Harris wins we are right back to square 1.
The hand reaches into the pocket for the "Trump official excuse book". It's rigged....illegal votes, voting twice, mail in ballots, blah blah blah.
Guaranteed Trump and company will challenge it if he loses which I think he will.
@mastert You just can’t stop can you? Something in that tiny brain of yours keeps urging you to continue up with the relentless trolling. It’s almost like you’re a pathetic loser with no life and nothing better to do.
You know it's bad when you have formed groups against Trump from his own party, "Republican voters against Trump".
@psujoe And there's your answer.
@mastert folks ain’t got the money to buy the signs the dollar menu is gone. Lot of folk up to their eyeballs in debt running up credit cards. I’m telling ya the economy is in trouble. Dollar menu gone and gas $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon is a disaster. I’m fortunate enough to be in an industry that’s always busy but there a lot of people hurting out there. Clark Howard said repo on cars and foreclosures on houses are at an all time high and Car lots are struggling to sell cars.

I'd really like to know where these people you're listening to get their information. WTF?
"foreclosures are at an all time high" - Huh? Foreclosures were at 2.23% in 2010, and in 2023 they were at 0.26%. They also declided in the first half of 2024 from 2023.
So I really need to know what the heck Clark Howard is talking about. Seems like he's just pulling something out of his a$$
According to a July 2024 Cox Automotive report, car repossessions in the United States are up 23% in 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, and 14% higher than pre-pandemic levels in 2019. This increase is a sign of financial distress among consumers, and can be an indicator of how Americans are coping with the cost of living.
I don’t know where he gets his numbers or how he compares it to other years. I’m pretty sure he digs into things that the mainstream media won’t tell us. Just the way it is. If you believe everything is great that’s okay too.
I literally posted the data, which clearly shows forclosures are nowhere near 2.26% as they were in 2010.I don’t know where he gets his numbers or how he compares it to other years. Don't post something like "foreclosures are at an all time high" when they aren't, and then go down some strawman argument that I think "everything is great" because I acknowledge actual data and not BS radio host lies.

All I can say is the profession I work in is considered to be at the top of the food chain and when we get slow they say it is a sign of a future economic downturn and we have been extremely slow for most of 2024. I have friends that i used to work with that now work for our competitors and they say the companies they work for now have been slow for months too.
@psujoe I have no doubts that the conomy isn't all that great, but just pushing back on the narrative that foreclosures are at "highest ever" levels.
That's just scare rhetoric.
I don’t know how he gets his numbers but I don’t believe he is lying. I work in the chemical business and I’m in the caustic, bleach, sbs, citric acid and sulfuric acid and we’re wide open at work but our solvent side which depends on cars being bought and house being built is very slow especially for summer time. If I’m very busy that means a lot of folks is sitting home flushing the toilets and taking showers. If the economy is good I’m still pretty busy and when it’s not good I’m getting way more hours than I want it’s been that way since I’ve been working at my job for 36 years. It’s been a hot summer and that also keeps us very busy.
According to ABC11, the number of car repossessions in the United States in 2023 was at its highest rate in years. This was due to Americans falling behind on their car payments after a pandemic-induced decline, when low-interest rates on new cars and high used car prices led to larger loans. In March 2023, 5.3% of subprime auto borrowers were at least 60 days late on their bills, which was higher than in 2009, the peak of the financial crisis.
Im not the best on looking stuff up but here’s another piece that I copied. The website won’t let me put the whole article. Its just me but I trust Clark Howard.
He’s a very optimistic dude so I don’t believe he’s into scare tactics if anything I may have misunderstood what he was saying but it’s not good for a lot of people regardless.

Many factors that go into the economy. There's an old saying, "Economy is as good as the people in it."
If you go back to the early, mid 90s when we didn't have as much social media, things were way different. Our society is being spoiled, that's JMO. I'll tell you more about that at the end of this post.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, dating sites with Facebook being the worst! Facebook gutted and destroyed many factors of this country. People are so addicted to that rubbage that it's sickening. It's toxic.
All of the things I've learned in my HS younger days isn't being taught anymore. When I was a kid my parents had me up at 7am doing things, learning skills, cutting grass , washing my own clothes, cutting wood, learning basics of carpentry, fixing things, shoveling snow. All of those life skills are slowly disappearing and believe it or not it's destroying many factors of our economy.

This is why I stopped buying brand new cars and trucks and living within means. It's a waste of money. If you can't afford it, don't go out and buy a 60k mustang or a 50k dollar truck. You can't have it all at one time. If I was a millionaire I wouldn't care.
