I know somebody snuck something in the bill that would’ve kept men out of women’s sports so can somebody tell me what it was please? Not one democrat voted for the bill so something had to be in there that they didn’t like? John Ossoff and the dude from PA voted against it so something had to piss them off because them 2 are usually pretty good. I got 2 granddaughters and I’ll flat out say I don’t want men playing sports with them when they get in middle school. I gotta few years but I hope something is done before they get there. This shit shouldn’t be political. Why Can’t we get a bill together that’s just that issue with nothing else added to it? Smh

It wasn't political in any other way than the democrats want to allow transgender men in women's sports, and Republicans don't. No other reason, the bill was pretty straightforward: If you're a biological male, you can't play in women's sports.

Simply put, it's a loser for the Democrats. Poll after poll is showing Americans don't want men in women's sports, and the numbers are growing. More and more people are tired of it.

Every sport at every level has a ruling organization. If there is a need for any rules they are the ones who should set them, not the government.

Another thing, middle school sports have an age limit, as do junior high and high school sports. I don't think you will find any men competing at those levels, only boys.

@psugrad81  when folks won’t to the right thing the government has to get involved. I guess we could change the name of women sports to biological women sports that should fix the problem. Do an open sports and biological women sports.

With all that is happening in the US and the world right now, this just doesn't seem to be that important. A minor irritant at most, but something that some folks use to distract the masses.

I disagree, prime example is Title IX. Without the government stepping in, women's sports as they are today wouldn't exist. The governing bodies of those sports didn't care about it enough to create equal opportunities for men and women in college sports, so the government did.

People can walk and chew gum at the same time. We don't need to overlook minor things because people are capable of dealing with both.

If one dude is taking the place of a female athlete on a team from middle school through college it’s one to many. My grandson is play baseball and 4 players on the team are girls and all 4 girls are pretty good but they’re 6 years old but the girls won’t be able to compete in a few years.

Venus and Serena Williams lost to Karsten Braasch, a 203rd-ranked German tennis player, in the 1998 Australian Open. The match was part of an exhibition event called "The Battle of the Sexes".

How it happened

  1. The Williams sisters claimed they could beat any male player outside the top 200.
  2. Braasch overheard the conversation and volunteered to play them.
  3. Braasch beat Serena 6-1 in a single-set match.
  4. Braasch beat Venus 6-2.

And these 2 women were bad ass in tennis brother!

The UK's top court has determined if you aren't born a woman, you aren't. But as yet, they still haven't figured out exactly that means to the trans folks.

A school board meeting in California featured emotional debate over transgender athletes being allowed to share locker rooms with high-school girls. One girl who cried during a speech was told to "wrap it up" by the board president.

These girls shouldn’t have to go through this shit. I have 2 granddaughters and I hope they get this shit fixed before they get in middle school. In Georgia we probably won’t have this but my heart bleeds for the young girls and women that have to tolerate this nonsense. It pisses me off these girls just want what fair. The locker room thing is even worse. Smh

Yup, California was where those two guys qualified for the finals in cross country ahead of two girls... then the guys didn't show up for the finals, the girls still didn't get a place even though the boys didn't show up, and then they tried to guilt everyone by saying the two trans athletes didn't feel safe.

Two proposals that would have restricted transgender athletes from participating in girls and women's sports in the state of Washington failed in a Monday vote.

The amendments needed 60% of the vote to pass — the proposal limiting girls sports participation to biological females got 31 of 53 votes (58.5%), and the other that would have created an open division for students aside from boys and girls competitions — garnered just 24.5% (13 out of 53).

it ain’t only California Roam Washington and Illinois is fighting to keep men in women sports. I do like the idea Washington tried to get done having an open division where anybody can compete which is what I’ve been saying. Do away with men sports and get to an open sports that fixes everything imo unless men don’t want to compete against men.

Who said it's only California? I'm well aware that this nonsense is outside that state. I'm very confused as to why anyone thinks men should be in women sports.

The way it should be: Men can not play in women's sports. Women can play with men if they are good enough, because there is no biological advantage to them. Pretty straight forward.

@roaminglion  oh yeah we were just talking about California the other day I had no idea that Washington and Illinois was doing the same thing on this level. Makes no sense to me either.
