Yes, for some reason you think people 18 to 20 should not be able to vote. What is that reason? Maybe we should have a requirement that everyone has to take an IQ test and achieve a certain level to vote. Maybe a logic test. How about a common sense test. Maybe an American history test.

@psugrad81  The same reason they can drink until they’re 21. you have to be employed to vote. I forgot to put that in there.

@psugrad81  i agree everyone should get to vote I just believe 21 should be the voting age. I also believe if a man or woman serves their time in prison they should be able to vote when they get out. Depends on the felony charges so we agree on that too. We agree 81 except for the age from what I see. I didn’t mean to exclude anyone if they’re 21 regardless of how they vote.

You literally stated that people without a job should not be able to vote...

(I'm sure housewives would be interested on hearing why they shouldn't be able to vote)

What if an 18-20 year old has a job? What if they are in the military, willing to kill or die for their country? Until 1971 the voting age was 21. We had this little war going on and were drafting 19,20 year olds into the military and they were dying for their country. Justifiably the voting age was dropped to 18. We definitely do not agree on the job thing. It used to be only land owners could vote. We are going backward in time with too much in this day and age. We do not need to add anything else to that shift.

@psugrad81  21 to drink and 21 to vote. Volunteering to join the military at 18 doesn’t have any bearing on politicians deceiving young people or buying votes. What’s going on at these colleges is proof 18, 19 and 20 years old is too young to vote and these kids are very smart and yet they deceive so easy.

Where exactly did "politicians deceiving young people or buying votes" come from?

So in your opinion it's okay for the country to let 18-20 year olds join the military to fight for the country, but because they are also naive and easily deceived they can't vote? I mean, what does that say about letting them joining the military to fight then?

Also... Why are you saying "all these kids deceive easy" when a miniscule amount of them are the ones protesting? You are saying that all college kids shouldn't be allowed to vote because .00001% of them are being stupid at specific elite colleges

@roaminglion  I didn’t think about housewives so I’m up to tweaking that one. That’s getting in to what Jehovah God wants and that’s not where I’m willing to go 😂

Southern, I love how you support PSU football and always will. When you get into religion and politics I have to reject just about everything you say. You claim to be religious but you support a man that shows absolutely no religious values at all. You judge people all the time, "send them to prison". The only thing prison time in the US accomplishes is keeping bad folks off the streets for a bit. Of course when they get back on the streets they are much more knowledgeable about what got them in prison in the first place.

it’s just my opinion that you should be 21 to vote. It’s also just my opinion that if you don’t work you can’t vote. I don’t take politics as serious as y’all do I actually pull for whoever the president is but that doesn’t mean I want my guy to win. I don’t mix anything with Jesus especially politics. I’m just a believer I’m not a holy Roly type dude I come up short every day brother. I probably get to excited sometimes when these chumps break the law but it’s just frustrating especially when peoples property is being destroyed. I apologize if it comes off as judgmental it’s just me venting a little lol. I don’t do facebook, TikTok or political forums I only do this and a Ga Tech football thing but mostly this site.

So in your opinion a guy who went to jail, and is out on probation working a minimum wage job should be allowed to vote, but a guy who worked as a loyal employee for 20 years, supported a family, and just got laid off due to budget cuts... should be prevented from voting? People who spend their time volunteering and making no money? They don't have jobs... no vote? Retirees? Stay at home parents? Etc. etc. etc? No vote? LMAO

Man, I have to admit this is one of the most head scratching takes I've seen in a while

@roaminglion  There’s always going to be good people that fall through the cracks I’m looking at the big picture. You don’t work and pay taxes you can’t vote. People will adjust just liked we’ve adjusted to the piggy bank we got going on now.

I understand some don’t like President Biden and Trump but if it wasn’t these 2 dudes wouldn’t it be the same thing with 2 other dudes people not liking the choices. Roam and Homer doesn’t like Trump and I don’t like Slicky Nikki and there’s a lot of me out there that’s why Trump beat her and he also beat the dude from Florida DeSantis. President Biden also beat everybody that challenged him? Sometimes you will get your man or woman and sometimes you  don’t. There’s no such thing as the perfect candidate that everyone is going to like. Democrats don’t have this problem it’s really a republican problem.

When differing opinions becomes "influence". LMAO... How dare we say that taking the right to vote away is a bad thing.

That’s hilarious when coming from a guy who constantly preaches that his opinions are correct and any others are wrong.

It’s not surprising though because that’s the way you libtards think. Perfect examples in this thread are you 81 and the moron from Aristes.

Yeah but I don't do that, you only say I do that. I have an opinion and I am arguing it with Southern. He's a grown man, he doesn't need you to protect him. Lmao, he is capable of making up his own mind.

It's ironic becaue people like you can't stand it when someone actually doesn't cave to your opinions, so you turn to calling them libtards, commies, etc. basically acting ike a petulant 10yo whining that everyone else is so mean and stupid.

Grow up. SMH
