Started knocking down trees, working on next year's firewood. I'm getting so good at it, I can cut it just by looking at it.... I saw it with my own two eyes.

Dammit BT, Ya had me hook line and sinker right up to the last 8 words.  Well done.  We have leaves dropping up here already.  The red maples are coloring up nicely.  The Almanac is predicting a pretty harsh winter.  I have my woodshed filled and ahve about another 2-3 cord i want to cut and split before winter hits.  I like to have extra on hand in case someone needs it.

Saw a mountain lion last week.  72 years old and I see my first one in the wild, pretty special indeed.  Ive seen tracks over the years and heard a few growling from time to time, but this is my first official sighting.

Cool! I've never seen one in the wild either. I get all excited just seeing a bobcat or fisher.

lol Yeah, I always put in a few extra FC too. Just in case the ex, ex-GF, Little Suzie or my son run out. If not, we're ahead for the next season.

Nothing coloring up here quite yet, maybe the poison ivy & staghorn sumac. Sugar maples are dropping a few of the tar spot infected leaves.
