Pour it on baby....

I can't post link. See for yourself on CNBC

Mortgage rates surge higher on DONOLD Trump victory causing housing stocks to fall.

I've already seen a digital sign traveling earlier.  3.43 gallon.  Let's talk more about this in 2nd week of January.  Good luck everyone

OK, since I dabble in real estate, I'll bite.  While what you stated is partially true the interest rate only went up .04% overnight.  Is the Trump election to blame for that??  For most of 2024 the rate was anywhere from high 6 to low 7. Who gets credit for that??  FYI, the first time Trump was in office the 30 year rate was never over 4.7% in the 4 years he served.

I just paid $3.06/gallon of gas out here in Minnesota today.  In fact, I paid $3.10/gallon last week at the same station.  Who gets the credit for that?? Trump? Biden? Harris??

Real estate? I got a question for you.  I live in a nice development with a balance of farmlands and wooded areas.  Beautiful area. Last year, early spring a homebuilder cleared a lot, put up a foundation. Few weeks later it was framed and wrapped in Tyvek.

Believe it or not that house sat like that for 6 months. Recently , they added exterior siding.

Good questions,  good points. I assume someone will snap their finger for a perfect world. That huge pie in the sky.

Why? Lol

...I'm guessing cash flow problems with builder or owner.  I was hoping he can answer since he has real estate experience. Appreciate your participation and being the moderator

LMAO that you expect someone in real estate to know the answer to why one random house somewhere took so long to put on siding. Seriously?

@mastert : Not sure what your question is but if you're asking me why I think the house was untouched for 6 months my answer would be that perhaps they learned you were going to be a neighbor??

Lol. Good one!

I'm sure the normals here will be clocking in on the forum shortly.  It will give them some laughter to alleviate their uncertainty and boredom.

You're asking the wrong question.  The right question should be: "Does anyone care what he's trying to say or ask?"
