Agnostic just means someone who thinks there is no way to prove or disprove God exists. That's all it means.Roam, I got very confused yesterday when you made a statement about creation vs evolution. I know you said you were catholic and had a fallen out with the church and you’re now agnostic. Patrick Swayze was agnostic and I heard him say he knows there’s God but didn’t know who was right between Jews, Christianity or Islam. Is that agnostic because all 3 except the Old Testament? Like I said, I don’t put limits on Jehovah God he’s the creator of everything, revolution, evolution and creation. If you don’t want to answer I completely understand I still consider you a good friend.I’m confused on what agnostic is.
Unlike Atheists, who "know" God does not exist... Agnostic at it's core is this: Whether God exists or not is probably unknowable to us. It isn't concrete. We say that "belief" isnt based on fact, but on "faith".
Some agnostics are christian actually... They believe in God, they just know they can't "prove" it. If that makes sense? Some agnostics don't believe in God, but they can't "prove" it. Some agnostics just say they aren't sure what is going on, because there isnt proof.
It's not really a religion or anything other than a discription of someone who thinks the existence of God (or non existence of God) is unknowable.
