Visited a friend on his horse "ranch" the other day. Not that I really care for horses, but he wanted to show me his herd, get a little walk in and shoot the breeze. As we circled back to the house for coffee, he says "See that dapple gray out there?" I nodded. He goes on "That's the most popular horse here." Smelling a set up, I ventured "And how do you know he's most popular?" He gave me the ol' one eyed head tilt....Because we took a gallop poll.
Nice. I work around anywhere from 1000-1200 thoroughbred horses a day. I had to read it. I liked the gallop poll piece. Luckily because of the horses I’m still working. I maintain a thoroughbred racetrack in Pa. We are not racing at the moment but these horses can’t stay couped up in a barn. Hopefully we get ahead of all this and it gets back to normal sooner then later. Stay safe Been There II
You too Rock. lol I'm way more in danger from other things than I am of the virus.
