Based on some of the unfortunate events that have occurred at protests over the last few years, this is in really poor taste.
Based upon the emergence of wokism it is unfortunate that humor has left the souls of many.
It’s sad that some hide behind their radical political views and continue to put down others to make themselves feel good. Low self esteem, I guess? Maybe 2023 will get us back to some common sense.
@lionbacker99 We can only hope....
Being kind, patient and gentle to people is what Jehovah God commands from us. Love your neighbor as you do yourself. I’m paraphrasing it because I don’t know the exact way he said it but this is exactly what he means. The only thing politicians care about is your vote and money, nothings else. Jehovah also said don’t let any man deceive you and he ain’t joking.

I hate black-and-white stuff, So when people say politicians just want to take your vote and money I get a little cringy...
I mean, everyone else are good people except when you decide to run for office and serve your country? I get saying a lot of politicians are bad, but honestly I think much of the blame goes to the voting public... not the politicians themselves.
If people actually put in a little bit of time to research their choices, and not just pull a lever for R or D... We probably have a lot more people in office willing to do the right thing rather than what lines their pockets.
I don't blame Marjorie Taylor Greene for being Marjorie Taylor Greene, and I don't blame AOC for being AOC... everyone knows who and what they are... I blame the voters for putting those "look at me while I scream" self serving idiots in office.
@roaminglion I agree, I should’ve been a little more clear because it’s about 98.9% Democrats and 98.8% Republicans that only care about your votes and money. I was looking at the big picture 😁
I hope you have a laugh because I’m just going on 😂 sometimes my post looks to serious and lay off the baby dolls Roam lol. Oh I do agree that’s it’s mostly on the voters.
@southern-psu-fan Oh I def. have a laugh 🤣
Yeah this stuff sounds so serious online but you know it's really just back and forth in a bar drinking type stuff 😃
@southern-psu-fan Like Roam said, we vote them into office and then sadly, re-elect the non performers and wackos.
Roam is right. The fault is at the feet of the voters.
Have y’all heard about all the whales dying and washing up on the shores of NJ? Need to keep politics out of it and find out why and fix it now!

The vessels documenting the ocean floor preparing for the construction of windmills are using sonar. The sound waves from the sonar are killing the whales. The climate change terrorists pushing for the windmills are responsible for killing these majestic mammals.

New autonomous underwater vehicles, basically underwater drones, can use higher frequency sonar at much lower decibles than surface ships to map the sea floor. This method does not affect marine life, and can be quicker than traditional methods. Once the industry starts utilizing it consistently, which has started... this concern is mitigated.
Now the bigger issue with Sonar and the stranding of whales comes with military use... Which has a much louder decibel level at a mid range frequency that is more disruptive to marine animals.
FYI
I’m not an environmentalist activist but I love the ocean and wildlife and man I love animals. We need to do everything possible to keep whales and everything else that lives in the ocean healthy. That stuff y’all talking about is way over my head but are y’all saying we make that much noise in the ocean and it’s loud enough to kill whales? Does this stuff go on all the time and we just don’t hear about it? Thanks for the info
@roaminglion With the exception of George Santos (or what ever his name is ) who won his election on a bag full of lies. But then again, shame on his opponant for not vetting him.

It's not that SONAR is actively killing whales and Dolphins, but it's throwing off their echolocation and navigation. Because of this, they are going places they normally don't, finding themselves stranded or in areas they don't know well with little food for them to survive. Basically the SONAR is either mimicking their sound and/or confusing them to the point that they are putting themselves in danger.
What Sky was referencing was the standard practice of big ships getting mounted with large SONAR arrays and blasting them down to map the sea floor. It's loud and takes a while to accomplish. Navy vessels also blast SONAR at high levels... for obvious reasons. What I was talking about are new underwater sea drones that can map the sea floor without blasting out SONAR at high decibel levels, because they are close to the sea floor to begin with. Also, they can use a higher frequency because it has less water to penetrate (high frequency doesn't travel as far as lower frequencies / but if close is still effective).
So is SONAR killing sea animals? Kinda yes and no if you get me.

Santos is just wild man... it's almost like everyone just said "well who would make this stuff up?" and let it all slide. LMAO
I mean, he's a terrible person but some part of me has to respect the utter game and balls it took to just do it.
@roaminglion The really crazy part is, he keeps pulling more stories out of his ass, to try to cover his ass.

So, do you call fisherman and merchant marines terrorists too? You really need to expand your news consumption from one radical side of things.
Everyone is pushing their own agenda. There is no documentation explaining why whales in unprecedented numbers are washing up on New Jersey’s beaches This tragedy started when vessels started mapping the ocean bottom in preparation on windmills. Could be a coincidence but we need to find out what is happening. The company contacted to build the windmills has deep pockets and is filling the Internet with lots of misinformation.

NOAA data shows that there have been 178 unusual whale mortalities since 2016. More than half of the necropsied whales were hit by vessels. Not SONAR deaths.
The other half necropsies were inconclusive.
@roam
Thanks for the data. Still suspect regarding the spike in whales washing up on the NJ beaches.
