If it's a road course don't do it on a mountain bike! I made that mistake years ago riding in a 25 mile road race... fine at first but really starts to become a pain later on.
@roaminglion Definitely a road ride. I am riding a Trek Emonda, a few years old. I bought a gravel bike for the non-road trails.

i was going to get me another GSXR 1000 but my wife won that battle but I am building on to my deck and we’re doing an outside kitchen with a TV to watch some penn state football while I work my green egg. A motorcycle would be much cheaper lol I like gas lol
