I bought me and my wife 2 Lectric 3.0 bikes for our 30 year anniversary. We like to ride bikes in Florida when we’re on vacation. I wanted to buy a GSXR 1000 so we could get places quicker but that might’ve ended bad for me 😂. 30 years baby and it’s been 30 great years the blessing just keep coming. Time flies when you’re having fun. I do miss my motorcycle though lol
I finally got this this thing together just gotta figure out how to work the electric part lol. I’m use to fast motorcycles lol
They say it will do 28 miles an hour. That’s plenty fast enough riding in Florida lol
In the mean time, you can use the pedals. More exercise that way!
@been-there-ii 😂 put me on a GSXR 1000 and ole southern can get down but I’m lost on an electric bike. Where’s 99 when you need him 😂
I hear ya SPF! I'm more of a dirt bike kind of guy. Riding on the road, I just tense up so bad, it's not enjoyable. Have to worry about who's going to ride your ass or play chicken. Hell! even riding on the PA mountain dirt roads, you have idiots! Got run off the road once, back up in the hills. The guy stopped, looked back, then took off. If I'd have gotten my hands on that dumb bastard, I'd have probably killed him. Got some bruises out of it, bike was ok except for a few scratches.

I'm more of a dirt bike guy too. I love those guys that ride speed bikes on the road. Doing 120 mph, Weaving in and out of traffic, not using turn signals.

Southern is a daredevil and speedster.

I hear ya. It's absolutely terrible. Road rage is at an all time high. Speed is the culprit. I believe Virginia and west Virginia are installing road cameras. Send you a ticket by mail with a picture of your car and plate number.
@southern-psu-fan Congrats on 30 yrs Southern! My wife and I celebrated 23 yrs on Sunday. Congratulations on the bikes too. My in laws have two electric bikes and they are pretty cool. I’m not real familiar with them, we still ride traditional bikes. She just drug me out to ride yesterday after work in the 88 degree northeast heat. I stay away from motorcycles, although my youngest has a dirt bike. I’ve worked in healthcare for 20+ years. Some of that time in trauma centers. Most of the traumas were motorcycle accidents. No bueno. Give me a Corvette or a muscle car any day though! I sold my Camaro to help save some money when my oldest started college last year, but I’ll have another one at some point. I’m missing it.

Congrats
@forum-titan 2018 SS with the 1LE Track Package. Wicked fast with low end torque. On a cool day with the track tires, the back end would break loose shifting gears until the tires warmed up. That car was fun and much faster than the C5 Corvette I had before that. Some day I’ll get another. 😕

Nice. My wife likes the new Camaros and Vette. Chevrolet really nailed it with this generation of corvettes. Look better than Lamborghini in my honest opinion. I like the 60s, 70s muscle cars. You can get some really nice packages from factory on the new Camaros.
Are you familiar with maple grove raceway in Mohton, Reading pa ? I like going down on occasion and watching the bracket racing. There was a Camaro similar to your picture that could run in the 11s, quarter mile
@forum-titan I love the late 60’s and 70’s muscles cars. A 1969 Camaro or 1970 Chevelle SS would be my pick. Or a mid to late 60’s Corvette. Unfortunately, those cars are crazy expense if they are in good shape or have been restored. The hood on my Camaro was a stock hood. As part of the 1LE package, it came wrapped in matte black and had working open louvers/vents. It was part of the distinguishing appearances for that option, along with the oversized red Brembo brake calipers. I have been to Maple Grove Raceway many, many times going back to my childhood. The smell of racing fuel is like an expensive cologne to me.

Yes, I've been there many times in my life, more in the 90s when my brother would sell parts at spring market and fall. Super Chevy Sunday. Growing older those days slide away with marriage, working etc. I still go on occasion to the markets if I need tools, supplies etc. Even just to walk around. I also go down occasionally to watch bracket night racing. Kind of funny this topic came up. I just looked at schedule and this weekend is bracket nationals. So, I might head down Friday after work to watch some racing. If I had the money and time I'd probably buy a 70 Camaro split bumper just for fun. Maybe someday if I hit the lotto. Aftermarket parts for those cars are getting expensive. Some of those cars with documentation and number matching are going for 45, 50k for a rust bucket. Amazing

Under new ownership. I've recently heard that they changed curfew. I believe 10pm is now track lights out. Also heard they no longer race 1/4 mile, only 8th mile due to recent restrictions. I'll have to verify if correct
You’re a good man 99 I appreciate the kind words and congratulations to you and your wife. My wife has the white one and we plan on riding them in Florida quite a bit. We bought the navigator a few years back because we needed the room especially when we take trips and it’s just the 2 of us riding down and we still don’t have enough room between 2 bike and the cooler we’re out of room lol. I need a bus I guess lol
My wife's a trauma surgeon... They call motorcyclists Organ Donors. LOL@southern-psu-fan Congrats on 30 yrs Southern! My wife and I celebrated 23 yrs on Sunday. Congratulations on the bikes too.
