Rasheed hasn’t looked good. It almost appears he would rather be someplace else. PSU needs points from him in March if the team wants to be in the hunt.
I listened a bit on the radio today but didn't get to Shak's match so I read a little about it on the BlueWhite Wrestling forum. There doesn't seem to be a lot of concern from that group and they can be very critical. The thinking there is two fold: 1. Shak may not be fully back from his injury. By that they mean his timing, mat awareness and wrestling shape not fully ready. Hopefully he will be back by March. 2. His opponent Davidson is no slouch. He had a terrific weekend having defeated Brunner the #2 guy at his weight class as well highly ranked Holschlag. Davidson's 4 losses might be misleading.
Not sure what is going on. He has a ton of experience and I am surprised by his lackluster performance. He will need to knock off some good guys otherwise the loss today will hurt his seeding. He will have those opportunities. Time will tell.
