A reminder that the number 1 ranked Nittany Lions take on the number 2 ranked Buckeyes from Ohio State.  This is going to be a tough match for PSU, especially with Nolf out of the match.

The match will be presented live at 8:00 pm on the Big Ten Network.

Yes, then the following Saturday is Iowa. Iowa's coach is a trip. If you watch the match, you will see him go off his rocker. Ever since Sanderson came to Penn State, Brands has been shut down. Brands has a recruiting network inside Pennsylvania to go after PA wrestlers.

28% of today' wrestlers are 1st generation.  Look at Rutgers line up from last week. 3/4 of the team were Italian.  PSU wrestlers in the last 6 years have their share of NJ Italian folks and Greeks, and the ones from California are Mexicans. It' great. Michigan, 3/4 are from ethnic backgrounds. Wrestling  orginate from the Mediterranean area.

Snyder's tweets should be fodder for PS's locker room bulletin board!

"Something about when you put them all together and they wear a Penn State singlet," he said. "I just want to destroy them. ... I just want to beat them worse than I've wanted to beat any team since I've been at Ohio State."

The two keys to this match are bonus points and 197.  They'll win 125,133,157, and hvwt. We should win 141, 149, 165, 174, and 189. Our guys at 133 and 157 gotta stay off their backs and not get pinned.

We can win this one but it ain' gonna be pretty.

I wonder who will wear the blue and white singlet at 125 tonight. If Kuhn is ready to go the next 3 duals it would be unfair to hold him out till the BIGS and NCAA’s. It’s entirely possible he would go 1 or 2 matches and out in the Bigs then not qualify for NCAA’s considering he came to PSU for his last chance to wrestle in college.

Is Ohio State going to wrestle or play hide and seek all night?

At intermission,I thought keeping 124 to a major, 133 decision was a good start but Lee’s loss let alone no bonus points hurt. We may have underestimated McKenna though. Hayes definitely wrestling not to get pinned. Taking down Retheford twice just pissed him off, Hayes is going to feel it tomorrow. Pipher did a nice job keeping it to a tech, he kept fighting though. Let’s get after it PSU’s murderer’s row!

Great win over #1 Ohio State.   Nice to see Coach Franklin on the sidelines cheering on the Wrestling Team.

Woooooo! Great dual meet win. In a classic case of you shouldn’t talk too much, Kyle Snyder couldn’t come through to win it for the buckeyes. And Tan Tom should retire his twitter account.  Great job by Cael and Co. WE ARE.....

I couldn’t sleep last night I was so pumped up about the match last night. I dvr’d it so I think I’ll watch it again before the Super Bowl. I live less than 2 hours from Cleveland and I couldn’t get a ticket to this year’s NCAA so I think I’m going to drive to E. Lansing for the Bigs. I love watching Cael’s guys, they are so relaxed, confident, technically savvy. Why would you not want to wrestle for him? The difference between OSU’s guys (who physically are just as good) and Cael’s is that he has them mentally prepared.

The weeping and gnashing of teethe of the Buckeye nation is in full turn over at the OSU web sight 11 Warriors, they are really pissed off at their wrestling team.
