No, like I said, I missed three deer, all around 60 yards away standing broadside. I am going to practice this spring at some targets and see if it is me or if the sights are off.
Funny little thing about that Elementary wrestling. I too started in first grade. I told my parents I wanted to wrestle at the YMCA. Back in my day, the YMCA was big hand out. I played church league basketball, ping pong, played pool and football. I went out for wrestling, we actually had a team and I believe it started at 50lbs and went to 110. We had the old canvas mats that we had to put together and then we had a large vinyl sheet we laid over top.....two lines for your knees and hands and arrow so you would always face the same way. I wrestled 65lbs in first grade. My parents didn't take me seriously, my dad was a bball player and really didn't know much about wrestling. Any way, I made the team at 65lbs and the first match we had was against Bellefonte YMCA on a Wednesday night at Bellefonte. The coach told us to be at the YMCA after school so we could head to Bellefonte. I never told my parents, I just went and didn't make it back home until like 9:30 or so. They were worried sick, called the police, had half the town looking for me until they finally spoke with the YMCA director who told them where I was. You can't make this up!!! True story! LOL
Those were the days !!!
Yeah, it's always those quiet humble guys that you need to watch out for! Probably has two cauliflower ears, bow legs and rough hands....not the smooth kind that counts money all day!!!
