Ok, I admit I don't believe that I've wrestled since JR. HS. That being said, I don't recall any good looking girls coming out to the mat conferring with the ref during the match. Has wrestling changed that much since the early "60's? What's that all about?

I think due in part to his aggressive style of wrestling which is good. Our boys are always trying to go for the bonus points and last night he got caught.  You live by the sword and you die by the sword.  He'll learn from this and will be ready to go come tournament time.

MB, the pretty young co-eds you mentioned are there to let the ref know when the period is about to end.....i think.

I agree Cenzo will learn from this. It’s not a bad thing for a top ranked competitor to lose a dual match. It is devastating to lose in a tournament. In fact, I think the loss takes off a little pressure as there are no more expectations to go undefeated. As for ranking in the BIG tournament, it won’t change much. Imar will go in as #1 and Cenzo #2. I highly doubt Marinelli will jump Cenzo.

Our mat girls kept score, helped clean mats and carry medical stuff, things like that, they worked pretty hard and they were a lot of help.

SPF, there seemed to be some communication initiated by the mat girl to the ref towards the end of a period.  Did that hold any significance or was it my imagination?
