Not to be outdone by Nebraska, would James have the Calhouns to do this?  Purdue wins the opening coin toss and elects to receive.  Franklin goes with an onside kick!!!! LMAO

SO HELP ME!!!! If he pulls any trick plays Thursday night, I will personally move ALL of his belongings out of Happy Valley!! He can barely call routine plays as it is....or tell time for that matter!

Just kick the ball and let the special teams do their job!

Good grief!!! No more of these post!!! LOL

GO STATE!!!!

@mtnittanylion I'm fine with bonehead trick play, but only when they work!

Personally, I’d like to see the team just line up and hit ‘em in the mouth and run over ‘em. We’re bigger, faster and stronger so let that win the game! We have the best players. Just get out with a win baby

Exactly right!  I'm sure everyone (most everyone) knows my post was in jest.  I agree with BT too.  Trick plays are neat when they go as planned.  Hope we don't have to resort to them this year!

The one thing that always bothered me was putting in Tommy Stevens or Will Levis for a play or two, but running literally every play. It became a joke, like "tell me you're going to run without telling me you're going to run"

Never understood it, why insert those players if you were never going to allow them to pass it anyway? What was the point?

@roaminglion  I agree, just run the dang offense and let the playmakers make plays. I’m for leaving the starters on the field especially inside the red zone. If we got the lead and it’s comfortable I don’t mind a trick play but if the game is close leave the best players on the field.

If he listened to us, he'd quit trying to force the running game and let Yurcich work his magic!  Maybe we'll see this happen tomorrow hight and enjoy the blowout victory!
