@southern-psu-fan 07 Outback bowl vs Tennessee.  It was a good game we won. Had Poz , Conner, Lee and Shaw on defense. Tony Hunt had a nice game as well

@southern-psu-fan

I've been fortunate and blessed to be able to make them.  I've been a season ticket holder since 1970 until I gave it up when they screwed JoePa.  I either couldn't afford to go to bowl games early on or couldn't get the time off work.  Once I got to the point where it was doable, I took advantage every chance I got to go.  Like I said, I've been blessed, especially having an understanding wife, lol.

I have been two 4.  The Blockbuster Bowl and then the last three bowl games.  I was all set to go to the Rose Bowl game tomorrow, but the cheapest air fair I could get was $800 on Southwest and I just absolutley refused to pay THAT much when any other time to LAX I pay $250 - $400. If it was a playoff game, I would have sucked it up and went.  But $800 can buy a lot of hot wings and beer, so I am watching this one from my couch! And what really sucks, I have a companion pass that goes into effect on Jan 4th.....2 days too late to fly my wife for free.

GO STATE!!!!

@navylion my goodness navylion that holiday bowl in 1989 was a nail biter I was all over the living room watching that game. Boys the days when we could score when we wanted to sure was nice 😂 I believe Ty Detmer was the BYU QB if I’m remembering correctly. What was it like watching that game live? Bet it was fun

A big fat ZERO bowl games attended by me. I’ve had interest in going and have had tickets in hand a few times but I’m usually on vacation mode and being lazy this time of year.

Brother I was 5 years into my career in the Navy. Was stationed onboard LHA 1 USS Tarawa (amphibious assault helicopter carrier) home ported out of 32nd St Naval Station in San Diego.

The ship got a bunch of tickets from the Holiday Bowl committee. Me and about 20 of my shipmates got tickets to the 6PM game. We started tailgating about 9am that day. There were 5 of us out of the crowd that were actually from PA and were PSU fans. It was a VERY lively night in our section of the stadium to say the least. Respectful but, VERY lively! It was a great game and a great win!!
