Just read he might be the first pick of the NFL draft. I always liked the dude but I just don’t get this. I would’ve guessed 3rd or 4th round but I wish him the best and I’ll be pulling for him.
This is a real head scratcher.
Basically some coaches are looking at him and saying "he has the perfect physical attributes, and I can mold him into something he's never been"
Looks like reality set in.
If Levis is still available I’d like to see Atlanta get him. I believe Ridder is going to be good but Levis might be better. What do y’all think? I was hoping Atlanta would get Lamar Jackson but it didn’t work out. We Atlanta Falcons fans have been in a lot of pain over the years but we still love ‘em lol
@southern-psu-fan Levis going to save Atlanta? Put the pipe down before you give the NTSB too much reason not to order a drug screen. ????
Kidding aside, don't think he's the one, son.
The perfect spot for Levis is where he can sit for a year or two behind a veteran and learn. He has the physical tools, but really hasn't shown a great grasp of working through progressions or knowing when/where to throw it. He's better as a runner than passer, but nothing saying he couldn't develop.
Rams maybe? I think his old OC is there, plus he wouldn't be the starter unless Stafford goes down again.
@roaminglion I’m hoping the Falcons see something in Ridder because we ain’t made any moves to get better at QB. I guess Levis and Ridder are QB’s that need to sit and learn and hopefully pan out. I don’t keep up with the NFL like I do college football lol
Levis goes to Tennessee... Good fit for him, a team that likes to run downhill and punish you. It fits his skillset, he can backup Tannyhill and learn while they also could tweak the offense when he comes in to add QB runs.
