I know this should be on the BB board, but I didn't see anything there regarding Pat Chambers resigning following some sort of internal investigation. Anybody know what's up?
While I don't really know, I'd be willing to be it has something to do with Rasir Bolton. I remember something about Bolton stating he transferred because Chambers made a reference to a noose around Bolton's neck.
Thanks for the reminder, Roam. I forgot about that incident. You're probably right.
While I think Roam is right, I get the feeling there is more to it than just that one incident. I rarely follow PSU basketball, but I did like Chambers’ enthusiasm and ability to recruit Philly which PSU lacked prior to his arrival. However, I have always thought that until PSU shells out some major cash and hires a big name basketball coach, they will remain irrelevant. We will see where Barbour goes from here.
PC police.
Can not believe the stupid stuff people say. Likely his career is done. His track record at PSU was not very good anyway.

I read earlier that Barbour said that the investigation revealed other things beyond/after the Bolton stuff.
Yeah. I read that during his tenure at PSU, he pissed quite a few people off (both assistant coaches & players). These disgruntled snowflakes spoke out during the internal investigation & used it as an opportunity to get back at him. I also read that he had a lot of support among current players. Personally, I have no opinion of him, one way or the other. When it comes to PSU B-ball, I'm nostalgic for the days of Barry Parkhil & Rene Portland, lol.
Finally had his breakthrough year, we were 21-10 and going to the dance in all likelihood. Then COVID hits, the season gets shut down, and 7 months later he's gone.
