More good news caven. Man I was supposed to go home today from the beach down here at orange beach AL but we decided to leave early Sunday morning. I’ve eat so much shrimp and fish I’m starting to smell like seafood 🦞 and I will eat more tonight lol
But the line. Says McSorely, McGoin, McHackenburg, McClifford.
Collins is heard to say 'what's the problem'.
It's the ghost of McHackenburg.
@underlion McSorely broke most records at Penn St playing QB and as good as he was, he was no MROB when it come to running the football.
Sorry, I was repeating the concern that the QB doesn't matter if we don't get someone up front. But the way the NCAA is going we will be able to trade 2 QBs for 3 offensive lineman and a player to be named later.
@underlion I agree buddy, I don’t think you can win either without a good OL that’s been my argument for the last 2 years. You either win up front or you don’t and when we were winning 11 games so imo we had to be good up front. I don’t believe we were great up front but we were pretty dang good. But imo I don’t believe they’re many teams that are great up front anymore you don’t get holes big enough to drive a truck through anymore the defenses are to good and to fast today.
@southern-psu-fan I think in college football you can somewhat hide your weaknesses if you adapt to the personelle you have. With Moorhead we did that, and he given the autonomy to call the plays.
For some reason Franklin went on a "I want to run the ball more" crusade the last two years, even though it was obvious it was not a strength. It seemed like he was trying to will it to happen...
Hopefully he just goes back to allowing his OC to call the plays he wants.
4 star rating from 247. Small school offers galore. Florida Atlantic, Georgia state, Georgia southern. I don't see many offers from the big guys. Here we sit 4 months away and still not to see anything promising on the radar. We are doomed.
@blushoes: you left out Utah, Indiana, and VA Tech. Look for the Fla schools to start offering.
This young man needs to put on some muscle, but he reminds me a lot of a young Trace. It all depends on how much he is willing to work for it, but he has all the tools.
@blushoes Niccy, Niccy, Niccy, was starting to think something happened to you. If your "we" means Rutgers, then yes that may be true. I don't know for a fact, I don't bother following Rutgers football. If you're implying PSU is doomed, 'cause you're "still not to see anything promising on the radar", I really have no idea what you're expecting to see. PSU just pulled in a top ten recruiting class in '22 and is ranked top five so far for '23. (yes, there's still a long way to go)

@been-there-ii 😂 he was gone for a few days but the snake is always lurking around lol

Although I’m still not a fan of the transfer portal, it has worked out in our favor. This Maryland transfer is a really big get. Gotta like it.
@psuinhawaii I hear ya! A whole lot more fun being on the receiving end of things, vs. the donor side. Hope he pans out.
@been-there-ii yeah you never know BT. However I do like the potential of a 5*/high 4* recruit with one year of college football experience under his belt. I guess he was recruited hard by Franklin to come here out of high school but he opted to stay “home”(I even think the big dogs like Alabama were recruiting him). Maybe he saw the success of AK last year.
