@kularrow PSU isn’t pumping the kind of money into the program to continue on the same path we are on. Unless things change and we start winning big games JF will have to answer before the facility renovations are finished.
The PAC12 was a weak conference that’s why it’s not there anymore. When is the last time a team won the National Championship? I was just as pissed as everyone else after the Ole Miss loss I’m just not ready to fire all the coaches because we lost in the peach bowl which is a top tier bowl game and we did have 9 players that had limited time or didn’t play at all.
As far as the Peach Bowl, IMO it was the players who opted out or the few who just went through the motions, not the coaches, that lost that game.

@psujoe I agree James Franklin is holding the program back, say we go 8-4 and they miss the playoffs. Where do they go from here? I feel stuck with Franklin, he has a crazy big buyout and with a new stadium coming, is that financially reasonable? If they do move on, who replaces him? A NFL coach? Are we in Matt Ruhl territory like Nebraska. A lot of questions if they move on, I don’t see it.

Sorry but one dominant team doesn’t mean the whole conference is good. It will be interesting when one of your “big dogs” has to play in a Nov/Dec playoff game 2000 miles from home instead of in their back yard.
