The following is taken from an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette following Saturday's open practice:
"The Nittany Lions don’t have a lot of options at quarterback. Sean Clifford took most of the first-team reps. Mike Miranda was the center, and Clifford took snaps under center and in shotgun. Offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich promised an up-tempo offense, and the elements were present. Clifford lined up quickly with minimal wasted motion.
Finally, an OC who is able to find time to practice going under center! Should open up our short yardage options.
Agreed 100%, Southern! His mistakes have got to stop if we're gonna get to the promised land.
Anyone want to weigh in on Franklin's closing statements, still lots to work on?

I don't see it as anything negative because coaches always say that.
I'd be worried if he said "Everything is running smoothly, nothing else to work on"
Are you trying to be sarcastic

No, I am saying any coach who says they have nothing to work on is either stupid, arrogant, or clueless. I would literally be concerned If a coach didn't say there are things to work on.
Just read on pennlive that James Franklin is looking at a DT from Illinois St name John Ridgeway. This dude looks like a great get from what I read. The transfer portal has been good to us this year and gettin this dude will make it even better. We need some DT help and it sounds like he will be able to step in and get some stops.
well shoot I may have just figured out how to post an article 😁
