@psfaninsc I believe the Penn St football team is in great hands my friends. I ain’t worried one bit I actually don’t think we take a step back other than just normal things like rebuilding which every team does that.
It will be fine, TEs didn't do much this year regardless of the reason.
Last year was a total freak year with Tyler, prior to Tyler, it was Kyle Brady 30 years ago.
If you want to look at size, take a look at the TEs that MC was recruiting at ISU. Dont know if they could catch or run or both, but damn he recruited some big bodies.
I think I read something that said ISU produced pretty good TE’s, so we should be ok.
I also heard that the QB from ISU plans to hit portal and follow Campbell to Penn State, don’t know at the end of the day what this means for Grunk.
Grunk is going to beat out that kid...He needs to stay where he is...Grunk is going to be a great QB if he gets somebody that can coach him...

This kid from Iowa State needs to either stay where he is or go somewhere else...He ain't beating out this kid Grunk...Grunk is good now and he is only going to get better with each game he plays...He is the best QB I have seen at PSU in a long time...
@the-funeral-director The kid from ISU is going to be one of the most sought after QB’s in the portal if he enters. No guarantees he even ends up at PSU.
Just saying, Iowa State and MC knew how to coach QBs. No one ever heard of their current QB and he was coached up to be a damn good player... and there’s this other guy named Brock Purdy who seemed to enjoy the coaching at Iowa State as well.
Grunk is much more talented than the kid from Iowa State...This new coach is going to turn this kid into the best QB in the country in 2 years...He has that kind of talent but more importantly he has a great feel for the game...I am high on this kid and they can't lose this kid under any circumstances...
@the-funeral-director I hope we get the dude from Iowa St and let both QB’s fight it out and let the best man play. I know guys will sit out on both teams but I’m still looking forward to seeing Grunk against the Clemson defense. Clemson lost a lot of close games this year and so did we. It’s going to be a good football game.
O'Brien heading to VT too. Not sure I feel real bad about that, 'cause we sure didn't get much QB development the past few years.
I actually believe AK has done a better job as OC since James Franklin got fired. If MC keeps AK I’m good with it. I’m probably the only one but I’m just going on what I’ve seen on the field and how Grunk has looked. Don’t kill me 😂
@been-there-ii I don’t believe I’ll get a whole lot of likes with it but imo the offense has looked pretty good the last 4 games. I don’t believe iowa, UCLA and NW could beat us today Grunk has gotten that much better and that makes AK’s job much easier to call plays. I’m looking forward to the Clemson game after Grunk has had a little time to let the game slow down to see how he does. I was wrong about AK needing an athletic QB because Grunk ain’t all that athletic he can just throw the ball and he’s getting better every game. Roam you were right so let me call that out.
@southern-psu-fan Yeah, but was it Ak's decision to change up? Or Terry telling him to stop the silly shit plays? There seems to be a little less motion, when way over doing motion was AK's claim to fame. Dunno bro! Franklin is/was on record as saying he doesn't call the plays. Only the shadow knows...
Don't think we need a OC whose job is easier calling plays because of the QB getting better. We need an OC who calls the right plays to help the QB do better when he's struggling, if that makes any sense, lol.
Need an empowered OC that can call the right plays. With JF we are not sure if they could call the right plays even if allowed. To be empowered MC has to trust him.
