Nice win today. Honesty from a realistic standpoint, it didn't look good going into today. A win is a win and Michigan sucks this year but overall IMO it was an even matchup; good win for the players. As for the players; Clifford put it out there, the dude gives it his all but...; Caine is a strong and solid runner but he ain't got no speed; Parker was clearly the receiver of the day; Shocka, well there ain't nobody scared when he's on the field,  I thought he would just eat up plays but..; the LB corp IMO looks like a HS corp; the Oline moved some mass today; and #8 D, if he can't lay the wood on a tackle then bench him, that BS drop the shoulder, look at the ground and hope the runner falls over technique of tackling is little man scared technique.

Clifford did play his best game of the season today and he’s one of  the reasons  we won. Defense stepped up and made some good plays #9 will be a beast down the line the RB’s are very young just like the WR’s and IMO they played their best game today. Play like we did today and we will finish 5-5. Gotta give Clifford some love when he runs the ball he lets it all hang out the dude does try his best. It’s a win against Michigan baby 2 in a row 😁

A football win against Michigan is worth 2 "happiness" wins in my world. I really don't like that school. On the other hand, a win over the super entitled The Ohio State is worth 5 (max) "happiness" wins. I thought I saw that because Ohio State allready had 2 forfeit games that they MUST play their remaining 2 games or by rule can not play in the Big 10 championship. Wouldn't that be a punch in the nuts.

Good day for some inexperienced players.  Not impressive but solid play.  Some tackling issues, kicking was suspect.  Coaches and players didn't give it away today and officiating didn't steal it.  Less RPO?

Played like a top 20 team today.  Beat UM.

@lakerie. The big 10 will change whatever rules they have to to get Ohio st in or All of their players and coaches will get cured  of the coronavirus faster than Trump did just wait and see.

No need to change the rules, Ohio State does not release the names of players that were affected and the athletic director has stated that they could have played today.

The reason Ohio State is in the position they are in is ALL because of the stupid Big10 delaying the start of the season! Ohio State has more than the BIG10 Championship to be concerned about, they will not get in the in the CFP at 4-0.  They need to win the Big10 championship to get in....IMO.  3 of their wins are worthless with the Indiana game being the only one that counts....and THAT could change if Indiana loses again. Teams Like Cincy, BYU and anyone else that gets 9 or more games in and only has 1 loss (or better) will jump Ohio State in the final selection if Ohio State is 4-0 or 5-0 at best.....assuming they only get one more game in and don't qualify for the BIG10 championship.

When they look at the full body of work, teams that made it to 10 games will get much more consideration than a team who only played 4 or 5 games.  And when 3 of your 4 wins are over a 1-5, 1-4 and 2-4 team, that is not giving you any help! Assuming they only get one more game in, they have a MSU who is 2-3 or Michigan who is 2-4.  Only having 5 wins over 4 losing teams will leave you sitting at home during the CFP.  So the way I see it, Ohio State MUST get both games in and win the BIG10 or they are OUT of the CFP picture....to no fault of theirs!

Do I think Ohio State is one the 4 best teams?  As of today, absolutely.  Even if they end up 4-0 at best, I still think they are one of the top 4.  But at 4-0, they will playing in a top bowl game and not the CFP.

GO STATE!

Ohio state will be in the B10 championship game if the average number of games played in the Big10 falls below 6.

Right, but I am not sure that is going to happen unless there are some major cancellations this weekend.

Yeah, I’m with ya on that, a little sarcasm in my post but in all seriousness and for the better of the conference we need Ohio state in so they can pull in the god almighty dollar to be divided out amongst the minions, lol.

On another note I do think osu is a top team.

The only downside is they will keep taking the top recruits from Penn State.  Kind of like a double edge sword.

I am not looking at this as a "REAL" football season this year.  I am glad we got to watch some games, hopefully they will get the season in and by kickoff next September we will be on our way to a full recovery from this Covid thing! I realize every team is going through the same thing, but not every team is being affected equally.  I feel pretty safe in saying PSU would NOT be 1-5 if they had the four OOC games as normal and Parsons didn't opt out.  Losing a NFL first round draft pick LB ( and not to mention a leader on defense ) is a pretty big deal....one guy or not.  Hopefully the win over Michigan will restore some fight back in this team and they finish strong.  They still have a lot to play for!

GO STATE!1

@mtnittanylion. I believe losing Journey Brown hurt more than losing Parsons but losing Both and Noah Cain was a disaster. Big win over Michigan because we need to get back to 500 playing Michigan. We have a great chance to turn this thing around and get to 5-5 to build on for next year. Be very nice going into next year on a 5 game winning streak.

Would be great to play Nebraska in the crossover game and kick the shet out of them. As bad as they've been since joining the B1G it's hard to believe they're 4-1 vs PSU and it's time to turn that one around also.

NOOoooooooo way.  O$U.   Could clearance  be truthful ... surely ...but you gotta live here to develop this kind of sarcasm.
