Let's face it...look at the rankings.. .they freeze 80% of the teams out of the playoffs.. Look at UCF for instance ... The argument being used was Auburn ... How terrific they were and it wasn't such a bad loss for Bama... UCF goes and kicks the crap out of Auburn...Of course they finish undefeated but never got a chance... They keep it closed up so they don't get exposed for the frauds they are... Of course Bama has that killer out of conference schedule... LSU beats Texas and all of a sudden they are ranked 3...Maryland drilled em 2 years in a row and didn't even get ranked... What has Texas done to be ranked in the top 10? They play hocus pocus with these rankings to serve their purpose... It's a scam and a farce...

My top 10 would be the SEC conference...I mean nothing else matters right...They more or less play with themselves as it is right? When was the last time any of them went north of the Mason Dixon line and played a football game in November
To me the rankings are meaningless... Put the 5 conference champs in plus the top 2 teams not in a power 5 conference and 1at large team... That would be my playoff system... Never happen but that's how I would do it....Win your confidence is what I say... The games have to matter and put an end to this beauty pageant they call a football playoff system ....
Here is the real kicker though, the SEC only plays 8 conference games. This alone guarantees fewer losses for the conference members. Half of the conference teams in the SEC would have 1 more loss each year if they would man up.

To their credit Alabama is playing a home and home with Wisconsin soon too. They also scheduled a home and home with us back in 2010/2011.

I'm glad we're getting a shot at Auburn, but I wouldn't give them credit for coming up north in September. Maybe the leaves will be falling, but the snow shouldn't be, LOL. I'd like to see them play in November! Likewise, Alabama is venturing north to Wisconsin in September also. Not very risky weather-wise. I know out of conference games are mainly scheduled early in the year, but just don't give them too much credit for coming north when the temps are usually balmy!
They don't have the guts to come up north in November..Their teams aren't built that way...The bowl games are set up for them like home games...Bama to the sugar bowl or atlanta...It's a joke...the whole system is a farce...
They can't, Big Ten teams play conference games in November. So until the Big Ten opens up a spot in November, saying they don't have the guts is kinda pointless

They're not all conference games in November! This year, Northwestern plays UMass on 11/16. Also, on 10/26 Michigan plays the Domers and Rutgers plays Liberty. I know 10/26 isn't November, but it's close enough. Anyway, the point is, they don't want to come up north!
