I have Oregon on the outside looking in this week. We only rank the top 5 teams because this is where the big Dawgs play.

You and that SEC shill for ESPN Heather Dinich need to hook up...Like I said why bother with this farce...Use the SEC standings and let them have their own tournament...You got a team that just lost to f**kin Vanderbilt ranked in your top 5...If ANY other team loses like that other than a top SEC team you drop em out of the top 10...Instead a bunch of cock and bull excuses are made up and they stay about where they are...The logic you people use astounds me...You say Indiana, BYU or any of these undefeated teams can't beat Bama but fu*kin Vanderbilt did...so that is the reasoning for ranking em lower and leaving them out of the playoff rankings...I guess if you can leave out an undefeated conference champ to shill for this outfit undefeated teams like BYU don't stand a chance...Don't be shocked if every at large team isn't from the SEC in this playoff...Georgia and Bama can lose 3 and still get in...This whole thing is a farce...Controlled by ESPN money...

I have Oregon and Indiana above AL and GA.  Until someone beats them.  Giving a 1 loss team a bias can not be overcome when a no loss team loses to a good team.  Unless it is purely done by computer with no human baseline bias.

Computer program ends with If SEC Divide calculated ranking by two and round up?

Say PSU loses close to OSU and OSU and PSU together only have 1 loss.  How do you justify OSU at 1 and PSU below GA and AL?

I need to get a life.  This is a first world problem.

The answer is an easy one...It's rigged...ESPN controls it and dictates that their business interests are protected...Simple as that...Money runs the show...This isn't about an honest tournament based on what happens on the field...A team loses to Vanderbilt for God sake...VANDERBILT and they tie themselves into knots to justify their rigging the system...Watch how far Penn State drops if they lose to USC or Wisky...Or OSU or Oregon drops when one of them lose this Saturday...What's shocking to me is how obvious this is...

I ain't concerned about how the season plays out...EVERY undefeated team should be ranked above any 1 loss team at this point...I explain in a new post why this is significant and how they use this ranking system to rig this thing...Now all of a sudden bad losses don't matter it is good wins...When in recent memory they used bad losses to keep out non SEC teams...I already know how this farce is going to play out...It's all laid out in that propaganda piece Dinich posted this morning...They are already priming the pump...Losing to Vanderbilt ain't that bad cause they beat Georgia the week before and they play a bunch of over ranked opponents so they look better even if they lose...Hell they can lose 2 more and get in with a home game to start the playoff...The games don't matter Southern...They have bastardized this whole thing and twisted it to the point the games don't matter...They have a predetermined outcome here and they will use this "committee" to make sure their predetermined outcome happens...

3 loss teams probably won’t be in the top 12 but if a 3 loss team wins a conference championship they’ll get in. It’s still early but I’m quite confident Oregon would get killed by Georgia or Alabama. How many times have we seen a team like Alabama has a huge win and then is flat the next week.

So let me understand this Southern...I am trying my friend...You believe that a team that just lost to God damned Vanderbilt deserves to be ranked ahead of an undefeated team? Many times a team wins a big game and gets beat the next week...HOWEVER when that happens they don't hold their ranking...I laid it all out for you from the Heather Dinich propaganda piece...Read her take on Penn State...This is why the rankings matter and they have stuffed a certain conference with undeserved high rankings...The system is rigged and you don't know who is going to beat who until the game is played...When does a loss matter? At what point? You say these teams CAN'T beat these teams...Vanderbilt just did...This is a no excuse situation...This is competition...You lose you hit the back of the pack...But that only applies to certain teams from other conferences...If LSU wins out in the SEC I wanna know how they spin this thing because USC beat em head to head...This ain't like baseball or even basketball and hockey...You only play 12 games and that makes the magnitude of each game that much more significant...Heather Dinich just laid out for you how they are gonna rig this thing...I already know how it's gonna go down...Watch and see...Unfortunately for the SEC they don't have the best team again this year...Ohio State barring injury is gonna win it all...

Well if Heather Dinich said it, all the AP voters must believe it. Can't go against Heather, she's scary. LOL

Brett McMurphy must have not gotten the memo, since his AP poll  ballot has OSU, Texas, Penn State, Miami, Oregon, and Iowa State all ahead of Alabama at #10.

Coaches poll didnt get the memo either, as Alabama is #7 with Miami, Penn State, and Oregon all ahead of them.

If Penn State can go out to USC, win by 10 points or more, then I think you need to put them at #1 next week.  I ABSOLUTELY think they can hang with BAMA.  The same with GA.... if it is Beaver stadium.  As much as I think Ohio State is really good, I still think we can beat them at home if we don't make costly mistakes.  Oregon?  I am still on the fence with this team.  I will have better a feeling after this weekend. As for Texas, yeah, they look pretty good.  I agree with your #1 spot for now.  I like your top 5 this week! I am just not ready to put Oregon up there until I see them play decent team....somebody better than Boise!
