If you judge them based on yesterdays performances and this season alone, rather than historical data, I would rank them as such:
1 - Washington
2 - Michigan
3 - Florida State
4 - Texas
5 - Alabama
@bdc I believe Alabama and Georgia would destroy Michigan and Florida St. they’d win by 14 points or maybe more. Now maybe Florida St and Michigan deserves to be in but no way can they beat the 2 SEC teams.
Is it about the 4 best teams or the 4 teams that deserve to get in. There is a difference because Michigan and Florida St deserve to be in.
Is it possible to do the 12 team playoff system this year? I’d bet most teams in the top 15 would go for it but is it possible to do? They got 3 weeks to get something together. I don’t think they will.

@southern-psu-fan Bama isn’t some world beater lol they should have and basically lost to Auburn. They struggled with South Florida and Lost by double digits in Tuscaloosa. I will admit Milroy has drastically improved but to say Texas or Michigan couldn’t beat them isn’t true.

You are completely ignoring Alabama needed a miracle at 5-7 Auburn last week. Like, just no even acknowledging it if you are proclaiming Alabama as the best 2 team who would beat everyone else. Texas did beat them, and Alabama should have lost to 5-7 Auburn. LMAO Georgia didn't look great against GT either.
...and before you say "RIVALRY!"... well that's Texas's only loss. Last second TD to a Rival ranked #12, not a rival that sucks.

@kularrow Alabama will win the NC so don’t run off and hide like some do when Alabama wins it. This is shit imo because Florida St was undefeated and they should have got in. I’m glad it’s Alabama because Alabama will shit stomp Michigan and get another NC. Ole southern will be right again just wait and see!
