I got Oklahoma on the outside looking in. I only rank the top 5 teams because this is where the big dawgs play. The AP and coaches polls are a joke and y’all know it.
I think we can get there, but our offense needs to show more before I put us up in the top 5.

@roaminglion I’m going on what we’ve seen so far. Lot of teams struggled on offense and didn’t have to travel to Wisconsin. LSU took it on the chin last time they went there. Our defense is why I put us there. We got a good football team. That’s the first game Wisconsin lost at home on opening day since 1995.

It is way to early for a top 5...How good is Miami? How good is Clemson? You really don't know how good some of these teams are to get too carried away...We will know how it all stands about week 5 or so...Penn State needs to run the table cause they ain't getting into any playoff with one loss...That one loss stuff is only for the sacred cows....
3 SEC teams in the top 5..That sounds about right...
@southern-psu-fan I cant agree with you on Clemson being out, southern...Many a media pundit praised the match-ups this weekend; a stark contrast from the 48-0 romps we're treated to ..To drop Clemson penalizes a school for playing another perceived top 5 team; a reason most teams avoid match ups like this
So, after your top 2, give me Clemson, OSU, OKlahoma....If Clemson lost say 20-3, that be one thing The offenses played to a 3-3 tie, I cant get too excited over a pick-6 score..It wont surprise me one bit, if Clemson is rated over Ga, come 1/1/22
@culture-thrives Clemson has lost their last 2 games and when you lose you get dropped but it’s early they still have time to climb back up. Personally I don’t think they’re that good at QB they’ll probably lose another game.

No it's not, we would have been in the playoff without a doubt in 2016 with 1 loss. In 2017 or 2019 had we had beaten OSU either time we would have been in with 1 loss also. Might have even made it if we had beaten MSU in 2017 or Minnesota in 2019 too.
We lost 2 all three years, not just 1.
@the-funeral-director I also got 2 big 10 teams FD. I’m going on what I’ve seen so far. Oregon,Texas A&M, Oklahoma and ND all won but would’ve lost imo had they played at Wisconsin that’s why I have Penn State #4. I’m going only by week 1 of the season I could care less what the people say goi g by what happened last year and their opinion I’m going on what went on this past weekend on the field.
UCLA and Oregon should be in the discussion
@the-funeral-director I don’t know FD Wisconsin record against heavyweights like Clemson and Georgia ain’t to good brother. We’ll see about Oregon this weekend and UCLA is an average team year after year and I don’t see it being any different this year. Oregon had a tight game last week against a lightweight but we will definitely see what they got this week.
Wisconsin did take down LSU a couple of years ago but I don’t believe LSU was a top 5 team that year.

Great to see the football season roll around and discussing all things pigskin again..Between trips to the shore, and following baseball, Im still a fan despite 4 hour games killing me, Ive been staying out of trouble.My Phils are right in NL East chase, but frankly I think they will fall short of the Braves.....Im also looking forward to Eagles sunday with new coach, new QB, and having played no one in preseason, a new start...I remember you dont like PATS but forget your team..In any event , hope all is well..

@mtnittanylion they deserve 4th we had the second best win for week 1 behind Georgia win over Clemson. Auburn is the real test to see how good we are they have some good coaches down at auburn and that game will be a dawg fight it I believe we get the win. The auburn QB Nix will challenge our defense but they’ll be ready we just got to put some points up. I’m thinking we’ll need to score 30 points to win.
I don't think Clemson is as good as Wisky...I also believe Penn State will beat Auburn by 2 touchdowns...time will tell

Wisconsin typically plays non conference heaviweights the last game of the season in a warm climate made for the heavyweights. I think they are ahead of the curve early in the season.

And OSU is in because they can't totally ignore the B10?
I think we'll have a better feel for what to expect vs Auburn after we see how the O looks against Ball State. If they struggle, oh-oh.
