Rutgers upsetting Penn State. However,  wouldn't it be something if Rutgers would make this a very close game? After reading about some of the oddest upsets this year it really makes you wonder.  Stranger things have happened.  What if Rutgers keeps this a TD game? Would that warrant a hot seat for someone? It would drive the fans to insanity if Rutgers keeps it close.

I have a hot seat that I use when I'm in my tree stand.  Man does that thing keep my butt warm.  What does winning or losing a football game have to do with getting a hot seat?

What county do you hunt in down there??  I've hunted in Tioga, Potter, Perry, York, Bradford, and one county out west just off the turnpike that I cant think of right now.

Carbon, Northumberland, Schuylkill. Tioga is very nice hunting.  Chances up there are probably the best.

Yes that was a tough one . You're definitely as sharp as a tack! I'm equally  impressed with niccy being able to remember what county he hunts in.

I've never hunted your area but i heard there are some decent bucks down there too.  Tioga county is beautiful country for sure.  I was fortunate enough to buy most of my properties in the 60's and 70's when land was much cheaper per acre.  When the oil companies came sniffing around a few years back, I was able to get quite a ROI in mineral rights and and royalties.

I believe that game was the worst loss for PSU ever.  Iowa took a safety with minutes left in the game to make it 6-4.  They knew we couldn't even get within field goal range and we didn't.  That was just plain ugly.

NL.....the beauty of it all is that while the water and landscape is being ruined down in PA; I'm earning a King's ransom up here in Maine where the water is clean and the land is undisturbed.

Is that the game where JoePa sprinted across half the field to get in a refs face about something at the half??? He had to be in his mid 70's at that point, and he was motorin' pretty good if my memory serves me right.

BoB, that was the 2002 Iowa game where we scored 22 in the 4th quarter to tie it and send it into OT. There were some bad calls in regulation, but I think the one that got Joe was Tony Johnson's catch in OT that was ruled incomplete. Total mess up by the refs, they played it over and over on the replay scoreboards and the refs knew it but couldn't change it.

I believe that game, and in particular that play in OT, is the one that started the big push for instant replay being instituted.

MB,  Many people bought land down there and didnt realize that the mineral rights didnt come along with it. I was fortunate enough to do research before I bought any land.  Im not sure if Remoh would have that foresight or not.  Many people were left empty handed when the oil companies came calling and landowners had deeds but no rights.  Like they say, there's a sucker born every minute.
