Not a very classy move. Someone rolled over in a grave last night.
I have no problem with it. As athletes we're taught to play hard the entire game, wrestle hard, go whistle to whistle, leave it all on the field....etc......why shouldn't the coach be any different??
Who was rolling over in their grave when "red" through that late TD pass against Rutgers several years back?
Classless, no surprise there..Was Todd Blackledge the color guy, I didn't see much, but it sounded like him..Even he was embarrassed, claiming its one thing to throw a TD pass with some 4 minutes left up 44-6, but quite another to throw a challenge flag..I had distinct impression, if that was Todd or whomever, they didn't like the TD pass either, that's a classy guy..
Exactly lioninsa, was it 1995? Mr 409 was hot after that game lol. Don’t think he meant MM to throw that TD pass though
I'm glad Clifford threw the TD pass, what's the point of putting a backup in for experience if they just hand the ball off.
What's more classless, throwing a TD pass with your backup, challenging a flag up big, or calling out a team's coaching via twitter when you aren't even playing them (which Narduzzi did)
I’m glad to Roam, let the backup QB play and play to score
That's bull crap. PSU came to play football. PERIOD. It was Pitt's job to stop them and they didnt/couldnt. Our 3rd string QB threw an excellent pass for a TD. As far as the challenge, why not call for it, its part of the game. If we win that challenge our offense gets to stay out on the field for a few more plays and give our back-ups valuable game time experience.
Hey look! Nardouchebag said this was a big game. Super Bowl like. Penn State player that way. Nuff said.
Taking the higher road is always better.
I remember the handshake at the end, joe's reply to something the Rutgers coach said was, "BULLSHIT." It was funny.
