Duck, a second team all-ACC DB, came to Penn State in December via the Transfer Portal.  Now he is re-entering the portal to possible transfer again.  His only "game" so far has been the recent Blue/White game.  Disappointing.....

Guess we won't miss him all that much then. If you can't be a starter, don't work harder, just take your ball and portal.

Might be, they need to make a few more portal rules, maybe players can only portal once a year.

@been-there-ii   A Penn State podcast recently discussed the use of the "portal" and one of the analysts on the podcast said that the NCAA allows an athlete to use the portal one time during his/her college career "for any reason".  After that, a transfer requires the athlete to get a "waiver" from the NCAA which typically means that the athlete specified some specific reason for requesting the transfer (ie: significant change in coaching staff, college changed the level they compete at or whatever).  I am not sure what Duck's argument to the NCAA is that allows him to go into the portal a second time in 4 months....

The driving force for Storm Duck wanting to leave appears to be that Manny Diaz projected him after spring practices to be a "rotational player" at DB.  Duck wants to play full time.

At some point in time, these portal prima donas are going to have to come to grips with the real world.  It's gonna be a rude awakening!
