Hairbawl suspended for the final 3 games
It’s not going to make a difference. In fact it probably gets them more fired up when our guys are the ones who need to be more. He’s also allowed to coach during game week preps. Just a symbolic slap on the wrist from the BIG. I’d rather he be on the sidelines for this game.
Agree with you on all points, Hawaii. Maybe it will be a personal psychological lift for Jimmy, lol.
???? ???? ????
Weirdly enough it's not quite a suspension, possibly the Big Ten hedging their bets. He is allowed to be with the team and practice/game plan in the offices but is banned from the sideline for the game. a full suspension would have banned him from any team activities.
The two most outraged programs were allegedly OSU and PSU. Meatchicken players are going to be fired up tomorrow.
@roaminglion in other words just like we thought, a slap on the wrist with the big 10 making it look like they’re being tough on Michigan when both the big 10 and Michigan probably planned this outcome. The talk sure did look tough anyways but this is a joke.
Nah, it's not a joke... it's smart. They didn't have the ability to give a suspension to Harbaugh because of their own guidelines. They admit the investigation isn't over and while much has been proven, the scale, scope, and people involved have yet to be determined. Banning him from the sideline is a prudent move and something that was allowable.@roaminglion in other words just like we thought, a slap on the wrist with the big 10 making it look like they’re being tough on Michigan when both the big 10 and Michigan probably planned this outcome. After years of talking about how Penn State and Paterno were railroaded, and constantly talking about due process... not sure why anyone here would say what the Big Ten did is a "joke" or "slap on the wrist". The letter they sent Michigan certainly did not indicate this was the end of it... to the contrary, this is ongoing and could get much, much bigger. They called into question fairness and the integrity of Big Ten competition. That's no joke and I can see more coming Michigan's way.
@roaminglion I thought it was over after this 3 game suspension like they had all the evidence they needed to go ahead and finish this. If this ain’t over and they’re not finished I don’t think he should be suspended at all until they have the proof and are ready to get this done.
Well, isn't that something? I just read an article, Michigan hired Hairball him back, so they could suspend him.
What? You’re starting to sound like niccy.Well, isn't that something? I just read an article, Michigan hired Hairball him back, so they could suspend him.
He isnt suspended, just banned from the sideline of games. Suspension would be barring him from all team activities, which has not happened.@roaminglion I thought it was over after this 3 game suspension like they had all the evidence they needed to go ahead and finish this. @roaminglion Roam, to me this was a “symbolic” slap on the wrist for the very same reasons you mentioned. It is still an ongoing investigation by the NCAA and I’m assuming the BIG also. I didn’t want to see any action take place at this point unless all facts are known and confirmed. I think the BIG was under some public pressure to do something now.
Southern, I think I just pretty much repeated what you posted earlier with my post. I just realized lol
The Big Ten stated this was an institutional penalty, as certain things have been proven. Michigan cheated, there is no doubt that a coach on staff did things against the rules.@roaminglion Roam, to me this was a “symbolic” slap on the wrist for the very same reasons you mentioned. The Big Ten stated that because of this, and there is indisputable evidence that Michigan's coach did cheat, the Big Ten had to act in some fashion... now. To let Michigan go on as if the didnt cheat, when they absolutley did... was unacceptable. The Big Ten did what they were allowed to do at this point.
The Big Ten even mentioned in their reply to Michigan, and I am summarising here: "In your (Michigan) 10 page letter to the Big Ten, not once did you deny the cheating. They did, numerous time, try to say other schools were cheating as well. Saying others are doing it as justification for getting caught is unacceptale to the values of the BTC nor a good defense of a coach's actions"
@psuinhawaii that’s exactly what I’m trying to say Hawaii lol. If Harbaugh broke the rules then do something about it but suspending him without laying out all the facts is just wrong imo
Personally I believe Harbaugh knew exactly what was going on but he said he didn’t so unless the ncaa and big 10 can prove he did know they need to let him coach. Michigan saying other schools are doing the same thing might be dealing with the coach that got fired not Harbaugh because Michigan might believe Harbaugh. I’m just trying to connect the dots I admit I’m clueless on on how all this stuff works lol
It’s precious how Michigan is acting aggrieved.
They even have “Michigan vs the World” “Michigan vs Everybody” shirts.
M Go Blow Me!
@psujoe lol I guess I should have said "My buddy read and article"
I wish Hairball would go back to the NFL already. It seems like there's always some kinda sheet going on with him!
@been-there-ii BT my man, are you ready to beat Michigan today? Eyes is baby lol
@southern-psu-fan I'm certainly hoping it happens. All going to come down to if our guys want it bad enough.
Absolutely! Players, coaches and fans in the stands have got to want it real bad and act accordingly!
The judge hearing the Hairball suspension, temporary restraining order, says he won't issue an order today. lol Guess judges like their Saturday's off too.
@been-there-ii this nonsense helps Michigan imo
