I can certainly understand why you've never heard of them. They've been playing in front of sparse crowds for years now. Hell, they're so bad they dont even have their own stadium. Rumor has it they were decent back in rhe '80s but any semblance of relevancy has long since passed them by.
They're kinda like that buck-toothed, freckle faced cousin that nobody ever talks about.

True story: Just yesterday I was wearing a PSU sweatshirt and a woman about our age asked me if I went to Penn State. When I replied "yes" she asked if I had ever been to the creamery; again I replied "yes". She told me she lived in Avis, PA and I replied that I knew exactly where that was as I own some property near there. So I asked here if she's a Penn State fan and she sighed rolled her eyes and replied, "no, my husband went to Notre Dame". I smiled, shook my head and said "We all have our crosses to bear".

Avis is right in my ol' stomping grounds. I still stop at the DQ to get my Buster Bar fix when I get "down home". Chattam Run, (runs through Woolrich) has or had some really nice brookie fishing.
