He has some pretty big receivers on that team and a few other biguns; bring’em on if there hard nosed, dont need city lights, and excel in their position.

This is great hire imo from everything I’ve had time to look up. Penn St did good now is the time to get behind this man and win some championships. With the schedule next year I don’t believe we take a step back either especially if he brings a few good players with him. I’m sure some of his coaches will stay behind so I would assume the good assistant coaches we have will stay assuming he wants them. Some of Our assistant coaches are top notch.

Well, it certainly helps when you have a grandfather that's friends with a few trustees. We had heard last night that it was going to happen which makes FT's response to my "up yours troll" even more laughable.
I'm still waiting for someone to slap my face and tell me this was all a dream and he isnt really hired. The way this is all going, I wouldnt be surprised.

I really like this hire, after all the spectacle (mostly media created) I think we got a good one.
I am very grateful for the kid and "the old man" too for popping in here and giving us some "real" inside information to get us through the nerve wracking process of getting a head coach...I have no idea why anyone would feel the need to hurl any insults at anyone for bringing to the forum any ounce of information they have heard about this process...Especially 2 guys with the bonafides these 2 guys have regarding Penn State...Count me among the guys in here that are happy about this hire...It took a while but it appears that we have brought in a very qualified head coach to lead the program to the next step...I am happy he kept Terry and that Terry stayed on...He needs to fire the AK IMMEDIATELY if not SOONER but I am curious as to what happens with Knowles...Terry will help him a great deal with getting him acclimated at the University and also with recruiting...I wonder if he is going to coach at the bowl game? I am sure he is going to hit the ground running...
