The FPI is certainly not a perfect mechanism to weigh the current developments of the College football season. For example, the Clemson Tigers are still ranked No. 5 overall despite having some significant concerns on offense after coming off its second loss of the season. Clemson has no victories over a ranked opponent, while No. 10 Oregon and No. 11 Penn State do.

Yes I did read it . I agree , it's not perfect but much more accurate than what the rankings are on nitsoftheroundtable.com.

Do you realize that ESPN's FPI rankings are a computer based model that takes into account previous years? This isn't an accurate representation, and even ESPN produces a separate Power Rankings because they know FPI's limitations.
